Apple Mountain Golf Resort

Friendly staff, excellent mtn. course, very challenging, yet very manageable. My buddy got a hole in one on the 7th tee from the blues. Good times!

On a cool cloudy day the course played to it's usual awesomeness. It is the Mecca of all golf courses in the foothills.

Staff has always been very friendly and accommodating. Wife was hurt and couldn't play, I played as a single and the starter put us out on the back. Played 9 in under 2 hours but was not rushed, just a steady pace. You will want to bring-buy extra balls unless you are very-very good at hitting fairways.

Didn't know quite what to expect, but it turned out to be a very fun round. It was a Saturday morning so it was understandably busy with nothing but foursomes that I could see. The greens were fun and challenging, I'm not sure I've played greens so incredibly fast downhill and incredibly slow uphill like these ever, but I'm not complaining. The greens were very receptive to spin. I really liked the course design, it played very fair for a densely wooded tree lined course with ample doglegs. However, this course is not walkable which is a little pet peeve of mine. I believe true golf courses should be walkable. Great staff, very easy going people. Totally play it if you have the chance.

Might as well leave the driver at home as you'll rarely need ti on this course. Pure target golf at it's best.

Great course, very hilly with some tough elevation changes. It was a little dry but considering the drought the course is in good shape.

One of my favorite courses. It's beautiful and challenging with a lot of doglegs and some tricky greens. A fun course that can at times be a little frustrating.

Always wanted to go and cross it off my course bucket list. Finally did. It was a fun day. The views were really something. Bring a lot of balls! My only complaints were that i was hoping for it to be more green but it's ok still had good time. My other little comment is we wanted to hit balls and we payed 5$ for bucket then we go over to range to find out it closed 2 hrs prior and would be closed due to maintenance. Pretty lame.

This was my first but not my last time playing this course. You'll love the elevation, the scenario, and every hole. Me and my playing partner, played from the blues, it's not that long, just you got to hit the ball straight. It's well worth the drive.

Excelent weather and the good pace of play helped to set my course record with 2 over par. Should play this course if anyone likes challenge in a mountain course. Wonderful place to place a round of golf and a picnic at the nearby orchard. The best time to play at this course is autumn when the leaves turn to beautiful colors and there are some free apples to munch.

Fun course to play, not for the beginner! Bring lots of extra balls and patients.

As a woman golfer the red tees was forgiving on distance but still quite challenging for my first outing to Apple Mountain. Shot a 93 which is average for me But the triple I made on the first hole to start out gave me pause!

Fun and absolutely beautiful surroundings! Perfect way to spend my birthday! Can't wait to go back!

Played this course about four years ago, as a ~ 26 handicap. At the time thinking I will never play this course again. Was too hard for me, lost a ball on average on every other hole at a minimum, was three (to four) putting on nearly every other hole also, etc. Didn't have an approach shot that I trusted, didn't really have any consistent short game shot (125 yards and in). The scenery and course were nice, but my skill level didn't fit the course at all.

Played the course a few weeks ago, loved it. I'm now a ~ 17 handicap. I love mountain courses with lots of elevated tees and elevation changes and this course is perfect in that regard. Played from the white tees. Only lost one ball the entire round, when I pulled my driver badly on a par 4. I played from the white tees, but the combo tees probably make more sense for anyone in the mid teens handicap range. The greens are tough, but fair.

Had breakfast before the round, good food, booked on golfnow and got a great rate. Only downside as with most mountain courses is the drive to get there. But well worth it. Follow the course guidance cheat sheet on the golf carts with the score card and you will be fine.

This course is a beauty of nature mixed with complex slopes, drops and rises. Greens are amazing and the whole place is just awesome

Course is in great shape, greens roll true, layout is little funky, a lot of long irons off tees for the long hitters, very tricky to score low you have to pick your spots par 3's are very scenic couple holes look like they are pluked straight from Augusta national. Beautiful mountain course.

Beautiful scenery, but hard climbs for a seventy plus out of shape golfer. They allow the use of carts on the fairways now more than in the past and this made it more enjoyable. Great course for long hitters and humbling for duffers like me. The staff were great and helpful. Love playing the course. Bill J.

Greens were not in very good condition. Still rough from areation. Shouldn't be in that condition in May

Had a very nice round at Apple Mountain. Not many players and the course was in good condition. I'll come back again!

If you have not played here, do yourself a favor. This
is the most beautiful mountain course you will find.

Course is very enjoyable. You will most likely lose a few balls in the woods, but it's worth it. Nice views, challenging and interesting course.
