New Favorite Course!
I booked a Hot Deal on GolfNow the night before and for $39 for 18 holes with a cart, what an amazing course next to the Long Beach airport.
I tee'd off at 1240p with two other singles and we played 18 in under 4 hours. Solid pace, fairways were perfect, greens were challenging in a good way and water and bunkers everywhere to keep each hole interesting.
It's the best public course I've played this far and I'll be back.

Great local course
Little pricey but it’s a fun challenging course. Tons of bunkers . Overall one of my favorite to play here in the Long Beach Area
When did it become so pricey?
I used to play here almost every other week with my friends. Favorite course out of all the LBC courses but now it is ridiculously overpriced. 80 bucks for the weekend rate with no cart and nearly 70 for weekday with no cart. My group and I will not be playing here unfortunately. Book the LA city courses and get 2 rounds in for the price of one here.
Average
$13 for a medium bucket of beat-up balls that’s barely 50 balls on tattered mats. Get outta here. That’s highway robbery. Total greed.
Course is just ok. Bunkers were hard-packed with barely any dry sand layer on top because they let it get soaked with the green watering but don’t they don’t bother to fluff them up so it’s hard.
Greens needed some rolling as they were a spongy and bumpy.
Need a bit more maintenance around here greens as there were a lot of dead spots that got in the way if you wanted to roll a putt hut couldn’t l. A bit over priced for what it is in these conditions.
Staff
Was not aware of High School kids playing yesterday. Very slow play. No one pushing them along. We asked Starter to jump kids. He suggested 4th hole and that’s what we did. Group ahead of us were staring us down. After hole one of them approached us and asked where we came from. He said he worked in club house. Told him we got permission by starter to jump to 4th hole. Not sure why he asked. But he was a little confrontational for no reason. Told him to check with Starter. I can see if we tried to pass his group but that wasn’t the case. As far as I was concerned it was none of his business.
Bang for ya buck
I played in the after noon so it was only about $25. Really worth it if you ask me, 18 holes. Nice wide fairways, plenty of par4 and 5's. Will coming back here quite a bit.
Don't expect any help from the staff at course when adjusting/canceling tee times that are booked through GolfNow.
The ease of use of this app seems to contribute to the degradation of customer service.
Staffing with robots would be comparable.
