Skylinks Golf Course

The course is in good condition, greens are true, I wish they would put the navigation back on the carts, for the price of the carts I think they could afford it, if not put up the red, white and blue stick markers up, this would speed up the time on the round as all I see are people trying to range there shots, it would be nice is all, don’t expect a fast round, otherwise I love the course and highly recommend it, have a great round .

If it was 30 bucks cheaper, this would be a great track but over 80 bucks for a 2:50 tee time is absurd for this place.

First the good: the layout is fun and reasonably challenging for an LBC muni. They actually have a starter keeping things organized at the first tee. Greens were fairly slow but they were in good shape. They finally have the ball washers and rakes back.

Now the bad: 5+ hour round was brutal. The bev cart apparently was out for 2 hours after we started but we never saw it. Tee boxes were really tore up. Fairways were mostly alright but the rough had tons of dead spots and big patches of just bad grass/weeds.

Overall, it was just ok. Definitely not worth 83 bucks when you can get the exact same experience at Big Rec, ElDo, Navy, or Lakewood for 20-30 bucks cheaper.

It unfortunate these days with rounds played thru the roof the courses like Sky links out NO $$$ back into course maintenance. The fairways are bare, the greens very slow and the bunkers terrible. COVID is not a reason the bunkers can’t be maintained by staff!!!

I try to play most of the courses in the area, and Skylinks is definitely in my rotation. It's always in good shape, usually a decent pace and an enjoyable round. It was this time as well.

Greens are in decent condition. That’s about it. For the money you can get way better. The entire staff seems like they don’t care and don’t want to work here. Starter wasn’t at first hole for 2 groups and then shows. Fairways are all dead. Sand is bad condition.
