Worth it.
Tournament course was in great shape aside from a slightly higher than expected number of ball marks on the greens for an afternoon round. Otherwise pristine. Fast greens, mostly fairly flat.
Layout was awesome, will be playing here again. Can’t beat their afternoon rates.
Only critique I have is that they need to have a marshall. At that price on a busy weekend, gotta have one out there making sure people aren’t doing stupid things and holding people up.
Always a test of golf!

Great Day
Excellent course..everything was in great condition. My father in law flew in without clubs and the rental set was high quality. In and out of the pro shop quickly with no hassle. Range/practice area well maintained and the course was perfect.
Always solid
The course is in great condition as usual. From the comfortable carts to the challenging greens this course is my favorite. They got the bunkers back in shape this week which is a plus. The only down side is getting food and drink, I haven't seen a cart girl in three weeks and the only place when playing is at the turn, so plan ahead.
Beautiful Course
This was one of the more beautiful courses I have played. It’s well laid out and a lot of fun. Most comfortable golf carts I’ve been in with the built in screens that track your score and provide course details and insights.
The only negative was there was no drink cart person, no drinks at the turn, and it was hot and sunny. Just load the cooler on the cart up before you start to stay well hydrated.
Sunday evening at the golf course
The Golf Club of Houston Tournament Course is an excellent and challenging layout. It used to be the home of the Houston Open, but there are multiple tee boxes to make it enjoyable for all golfers of all skills levels. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our round. The staff was great, and the course was in excellent condition. One group in front of us played scramble format from the tips, which was beyond their capability. This slowed the pace of play, and a marshal should have helped speed up the process, but I still highly recommend the course.

Don't listen to the negative reviews on here. It's a golf course and if you want to golf the course is great. If you're looking to make friends and family, maybe look at the reviews. In that case. We had a great time. The course was fun. Amazing! The front was hard back was a little easier. Friendly staff wouldn't change anything. Great time
