Chardonnay Golf Club

This is a great, challenging but fair course. Tee boxes, fairways and greens we’re all in great condition. Like most courses here in the valley, the traps are really just dirt which makes for very interesting escapes green side.

I love playing the course but typically it is overpriced most of the year. Fall and winter rates make it better but there are so many choices of great course that offer a better overall value.

If you haven’t played Chardonnay, hurry up and do so, especially right now where the weather is the best and the rates match the value.

Used to be one of my go to places to play. I went out after 1pm in hopes of finding the course with fewer people on it, It was, but they had a number of fivesomes out there that ruined my hopes of a quick round. If they continue fivesomes not worth the time.

Good round but play was very slow. Although greens were top dressed , it was in good shape.

Excellent day for golf. The temperature was 77 degrees, sunshine, and a beautiful golf course winding through the Vineyards. The pace of play was excellent, and a few tough holes to keep you on your toes (#5,#7, #15). The course has wide open fairways for the most part and if you do hit into the Vineyards (not to deep) You can find your ball pretty easily. I would definitely play this course again and the next time I’ll stop off at the 19th hole and enjoy the libations.

Sad, chardonnay is not the great course it once was.. happy they can still stay above water

Waited 20 min on each hole.

Finally gave up on the 12th hole.

Loud wedding going on.

Overall disaster

So breaks between tee times. No ranger. Backed up for miles.

I always enjoy playing this course. I had difficulties with the pin positions, very hard to approach. The sand traps need attention(hard pack sand),

Chardonnay is always a challenge, links courses require patience and accuracy. The greens and pin positions will eat you alive. Never boring.

1st time I played this course. Course was in great shape. Generous fairways made getting around the course pretty easy. Greens are interesting, multiple levels and varying widths and lengths. Greens in great shape, putts rolled very true. Very friendly service, pro shop, cart barn, restaurant.

Course is in great shape. Par 72. Its unique with 6 par 3, 4, and 5’s. Lots of scoring opportunity. Greens run true and is in incredible shape. Very forgiving course with some challenging par 5’s. Excellent staff and great watering hole too.

Chardonnay is an awesome course. The greens are FANTASTIC! It is a challenging, but fair course. Like many courses these days, the pace was slow; unfortunately. The person at the front desk was not very friendly, but the person who greeted me at the bag drop off was very helpful and friendly.
