Sanctuary Golf Club

Came down from Rhode Island to golf with some buddies, out of 5 courses in 3 days, this was hands down the best. A top 3 course for me. Staff was awesome, as were the amenities. 10/10 would recommend, I’ll be back in the autumn for sure!

The course was in excellent condition for early March. Very player friendly with wide fairways and large greens. Lots of water but very little comes into play. While we enjoyed the round, just didn’t feel that the layout was very interesting and that the design did a poor job of using all the natural areas around, especially the water and marsh. Not sure it is worth the cost and all the hype.

Side note: on course rest rooms could use service and cleaning.

We arrived and we were told you will have to wait an hour and a half. Not cool.

The course was in great shape. There was a juniors tournament before my round that presented some challenges for the staff but they were very accommodating and very nice. This was my first time playing here but I will be back next time I’m in this area.

Not fond of the courses prerogative to add players to fill out to foursome.

Great course. Good greens big fairways. Lots of tee options and great bunkers. For the fees they charge they should have water on the course, a beverage cart, and towels in the carts for guests. It’s pricey for sure but is a fun track. Go see it for yourself

Big fairways, well kept, fast greens, bunkers are in great shape, and pace of play is pretty good overall. I try to get there at least 1 time per Month but it's a bit of a haul to get there. Wish it were closer to JAX. They need water on the course and for the amount they charge towels in the carts would not be an unreasonable ask IMO. Being a low digit single handicap I like the place and get to hit nearly every club in the bag which is a real treat.

Sanctuary Cive was a a great track very true rolling greens and good layout. It would be a great course to belong to as it makes a great daily player

The cart GPS is set far too restrictive for a HDCP player. King and Prince does it properly. Otherwise great track and drainsunlike its sister course Heritage.

From the first staff member helping w clubs to the friendly hello at check in and then the practice facility and the course this is a great value to play when in south GA.

A member told me it was a little slow for a Friday but we played in 4 hours with a 2 some and took the extra time to enjoy the views around the course.

Greens were great and good speed , bunkers were perfectly dressed and played consistent , fairways were wide and super good for Feb. The layout was very challenging yet easy to navigate for first time around . All around a super good every day place to play , I was pleasantly surprised and would go back when in the area .
