The Golf Club at Chapel Ridge

Course is the best shape in several years. Couple of fairways a little thin but overall 8+ on a 1-10 scale. Greens are near perfect but are a little slow. Not many ball marks when I checked the course out last week but at the end of the day when I played they were already showing signs of slack golfers not fixing their ball marks.Hope greens make it through the hot days to come and increased play. Watched a patron drive all over hole #8, a par 3, cart path only like most par 3's but you have winners everywhere you go. They just don't understand they mess it up for everyone else. Probably my favorite course in the area, great layout. In great shape now give it a play. You won't be disappointed.

The course is very playable and in great condition.

This is fast becoming my favorite course in the RTP area.

The fairways were plush, the greens a bit on the slow side (bent grass), but very true & consistent

We played the blues and and the layout is challenging but fair.

With constant GolfNow deals, this is the best bang for your buck around.

First time playing this course. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition. Shot one of my best games on this course. Highly recommend giving this course a try.

Course conditions were great. Thought the price was fair for an 18 hole twilight deal. Course can be challenging with the number of sand traps/protected greens/dog legs, depending on what tee box we play from. Thought the guy (I think the golf pro) was somewhat rude in the pro shop where you pay for your round and the young man taking the carts at the end of the night was extremely rude. Would still play again due to enjoying the course. Driving range was great. Course also has a nice practice putting green but no chipping green for practice.

This is your typical modern inland course. Fast, sloping greens roll true, a big plus. Employees are a little scarce--the starter just disappeared at one point for 20 minutes or so, and golfers piled up behind a slow group at the turn, with no ranger around to encourage faster play. I waited almost 20 minutes to tee off on the 11th tee and considered walking off at that point--definitely the low point of the round. Pace improved just enough after that so as not to spoil the round. Maybe this is just a course to avoid on weekends.

I hadn’t played Chapel Ridge in well over a year. I was pleasantly surprised at the course conditions. The fairways are really starting to come in and it looks like they have done something about the weeds. The greens were in very good shape, firm and a little fast but holding good shots. Very nice layout with a nice staff and amenities. I will be back sooner than later.

I have always loved the layout here but conditions as of May 1 just are not that great. Fairways are still sparse and tight lies abound. Collars around most greens are uneven, muddy, and very bumpy. The greens are only okay, not totally smooth.

Tee boxes are sandy and uneven. I hope it all improves as the weather gets better because I do enjoy playing here but I left disappointed in the overall shape of the course.

The only major issue I ran into that is fixable was that the clubhouse closed rather early. I finished my round at maybe 5:45 and I could get a beverage after my round. 5:45 on a Friday? Also the plugged greens which I wasn't aware off or I would have avoid the course. Take that away and this is one of my favorite courses in the triangle area, hands down!

Great course, first time playing it. the worse thing I can say about the course is the grass in the fairways was very tight, very hard pan in many places and hard to hit off of, but can only be expected this time of the year. In a month from now you could expect it to be near perfect. Great layout with some really amazing holes. I cannot wait to see and play this course again when everything is green and lush.

Great course .....except for now with just aireated greens.

We enjoy using the twilight discount and have played numerous times over the last few years. Staff is great and the course is well maintained.

Great course, great staff. Unfortunately is eats my lunch. The par 5s are a beast but fair. I really enjoy the beauty of this course. Standing on the tee box often provides a panoramic view of neighboring Chatham County and it is gorgeous. The greens were in excellent condition, especially for this time of year. I would highly recommend playing this course especially if you are a big bopper off the tee box.

Had a great day. The weather was great and the course was in good shape. Staff was very helpful and alert.

Love the layout and highly encouraged 3 friends to come play. On a 39 degree very windy cart path only day was rudely told by a Ranger our pace of play was too slow. We coming completed the round in 4 hrs and 20 minutes. On on long course, cart path only, with very sloppy conditions this is not a “slow” round and any reasonable course would not be chastising you for thus pace. Love the course but to spend your money and time and feel pressured when the course is not fully open is not acceptable. Maybe 4 par golfers could complete a round faster but totally unfair for management to expect average golfers to accomplish. Very rude.
