The Golf Club at Chapel Ridge

Pace of play was agonizing until the latter half of the back nine. Ended on a 4:45 round, but only because 2 foursomes ahead of us dropped out midway through the back 9. Rangers made some efforts to speed up play, but as we are at one point on a 6 hour round pace, more significant efforts were warranted.

Course is a great layout - greatly requires accuracy off the tee. Greens were not great - divot repair was not widely practiced - and some areas of the fairways were bare.

Overall a good course in need of better ranger and grounds management.

Greens rolled smoothly. Course was in great shape and play kept moving. The pin placements were tough that day but it happens every now and then. Had a great time.

Really like this course. Greens average to above average. Traps adequate. Play can be slow on some days.

First time playing this course,No complaints,yardage markers thru-out the fairways are a big help,will definitely be back later in the season when everything is LUSH...cant wait

Great course for the money. Greens were in good shape, medium fast. Had to be aware of up or down putt as greens are very undulating. It helps to know the layout. Would recommend to friends.

This was my first time playing Chapel Ridge. I was very impressed by the course condition and pace of play for how busy it was. Staff was not at all friendly and was a bit put off by that. However, when you consider how little the interaction with them was, this was not a big deal.

I will definitely recommend this course to a lot of people I know. Defiantly playing this course again.

Greens aerated so no putts over three feet made all day. Nice layout. I'll play it again later when things green up a bit. It's in the middle of nowhere.

Round took 5:10. Painful. Staff didn't care when I called in. Little sand in bunkers, greens were rough. I like the layout but a 5+ hour round is ridiculous. Not sure I

Course condition was pretty good.

It is 6700 yards from the Blue tee, but it plays out

like 6400-6500 yards in other courses due to

doglegs etc.

So play from the blue tee if you enjoy playing

6500 +- yards in your reg. rounding.

We Play here all the time even though it's almost an hour away. It's that good.

The greens were recently aerated. A discount was given, we were notified when we booked, and the course was top dressed pretty well. Made for an excellent day all considered

A great course that's definitely worth the trip. Fantastic design that presents the player with a great variety of holes. Good shots and ball placement are a must, but course of not overly penalizing. Greens were in excellent shape, rolled very true and were quite fast. The entire staff were friendly nad very helpful. Will definitely play again soon.

Fairways dry, fast, fairly bare due to lack of rain.

Greens very good, true, fast, receptive.

Bunkers in good shape.

Course more difficult than some, but fair.

Ok for the $ but not great. Holly course and fairly long (even from the white tees). Conditions were not great.

The course was in great condition. The weather was very nice for late December in NC! I really enjoyed putting on the greens which were in excellent condition. Highly recommend this course!

I have played this course couple of times and each of those time I never felt the coy racial undertones I felt this time. Our TT was switched from 1:20 to 2pm so that my friend and I could play together, I get that. The looks, the lack of courtesy in the tone of the way you speak to someone when you're in a service industry. It was not hard to notice that we were the only ones there, we stood out like a sore thumb. We felt that we should leave because of the atmosphere but we payed our money just like everyone else.
