About
Shorecliffs Golf Course wanders through the coastal canyons and valleys of San Clemente, heading towards the beautiful shoreline. Situated just steps from the ocean, the course enjoys cool ocean breezes and a temperate climate, which makes it a year-round haven for golfers. Its location also provides the golf course with plenty of scenic ocean views. The course features narrow fairways tightly lined with trees and small greens bordered by sand bunkers. The front nine is shorter and requires more accuracy than the longer, wider back nine. Shorecliffs opens with one of the trickiest par-5s in the area. This dogleg left hole features trouble both left and right. Although the layout does offer a fair challenge, players of all skill levels will feel comfortable taking on the golf course.

Will be back again
2nd time in the last month. Enjoyable round with only a few, questionable course maintenance issues. Definitely continue to keep up with the improvements! Overall a great value!
Where the Surf meets the Turf
Course played a little slow. . Some of the holes had no markings (signs) on which way to go. Should had removed the old markings,Some bad spots on the turf and in fairways and greens.
Up and Down
Some bad spots on the fairways and greens. Certain areas needed mowing.
Excellent Pace of Play
Excellent pace of play and course was full. Tee boxes were in need of help and greens were slow. I would go back.
Great improvements
Played here first time since renovations and was extremely impressed with the quality of the course, landscaping and amenities. Staff was very friendly and with the new clubhouse, that gave it a private club feel for public prices. My green fee was reasonable and pace was good for a public course. I would recommend Shorecliffs and will come back again. Worth taking the day off work!

New clubhouse and surrounding areas are beautiful. Greens are well maintained but fairways are either not maintained well or are in need of more water.

This course has taken the hits from several, consistent bad reviews. Lately the trend has been positive so I thought it was worth trying.
I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The course is in good condition and has many challenges. The front 9 fairways are very narrow and challenging. This course is nice, a good value and I’ll play again!
