Great staff
I even received a senior rate of $43! Gentleman at the pro shop was great. Played super fast and the greens were even faster considering the rain for the first 6 holes. Course held up in the very wet weather I plan on playing again when I am back in the area!
Often play this coarse as a treat for myself.
If you want to get a true test of your golf skills, this is the test for it. Always in great condition. The greens will test your putting aptitude; require being adapt in reading the proper line with consistent demands reference speed. If you want a “easy no brainer” round this is not the coarse. On the other hand if you want a round that goes through your bag and rewards good shots, that would be Belmont.
an hour from Raleigh hidden gem
our group comes over to Belmont in Rocky Mount a couple times a year. It is a great day. Pace of play has always been under 4.5hours, staff genuinely tries to help you out and the golf course gets better every time.

Played Belmont Lakes for the first time.
Was very impressed with this Belmont Lakes course. The checkin process was easy and using GolfNow made it much more affordable. The course was in very good shape and will play here again no doubt.
Great course. The first time I played from the tips a couple of days after rain but the course drained well. Shot 79.
Second time out, the course was drier. Played from the blue box and shot 72.
Greens were quick, fairways, well manicured, the rough heavy enough to lose a ball in, the sand perfect. It was challenging but rewarding as well. Great balance.
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite courses, it's a 1.5 hours drive away but worth the trip.
Nice course
Course is spreaded out, but layed out nice. Chalenging and fit for a left hand golfer, a lot of dog leg lefts! I enjoyed it.
Pretty good course but expensive
The entire corse was great and very well maintained. Honestly the only downside to the corse is how fast the greens are. It’s almost as if everything you know about putting goes out the window otherwise it’s a great corse.
Great Course
Good pleasing track. Greens are running true. Very fun!
Great playing coarse!
Tee boxes, fairways, carts & paths, and especially greens were in exceptional condition. Only negative was a 4 some’s slow play bottle necked the second nine. Advised pro shop and they addressed situation.
Always a nice track
This course was in great shape and always is a great place to play.
