Winchester Country Club

it is under new management and the staff was really friendly. The course wasn't in good shape, the greens no one repaired the divots and fairways needed some love also

Major construction and renovation of the clubhouse under rumored new ownership has diminished the food and beverage services.

However, the course is in excellent shape as always and its a pleasure to play!

Check in Club House staff have no smile and didn't suggest where the range and putting area is located knowing that I'm not a member of this Private Country Club.

And being Asian (surprised him?) to come to play at this Club?

I felt that he should have the courtesy to "suggest, ask or tell me "where the location are at (big area and private club for members, but open to public on this week)

Have to ask other golfers about where the location is at. Other staffers were very kind and courtesies.

Our tee time started right after 3 group of tournament players and was dragged out to a very slow pace.

Two group of 2 some even caught up and pair up and play as 4 some as all of us had to wait on almost every hole as the tour players were slow in their play.

When finished we were over by 1 hr as according the GPS tracker /monitor. Tee time started at 1:30pm and didn't finish until 6:45pm. Long day.

Well maintain course but a bit disappointed at the whole round and the price was higher than its valve.

I'll not play here again at that price (even on weekday). Suggest to be max at $80/round on weekdays.

This course is now allowing public play again. Conditions are pretty nice and the design is challenging but fair. Greens roll well and are not too fast for some pin positions used by the course. Worth playing.

first time playing here. A bit out of the way (though close to I-80). Beautiful scenary. Very hilly course. Some very steep cart paths and yes, you NEED a cart - some very long green to tee trips.

The course was in great shape. Greens are VERY fast and uneven/hilly. Makes them challenging, but in a good way - not necessiarly a bad way. Some fairways have very unforgiving out of bounds - but again, keeps a golfer honest!

The pace of play was very good. Did not see a marshall, but one was not needed, so it worked out.

A very good day of golf.

Great course. Always enjoy it. Glad to see it’s open to the public. We will be back!

This was my first time playing this course. What a beautiful course and peaceful place to play. The course is very fair and if you play the slopes on the fairways and greens correctly your ball will find a way to the pin. I highly recommend this course and is a must play for anyone.

Course is nice.. but for 125$ a 5 and 1/2hr round is un exceptible... also had to wait 30min past tee time to tee off.. so actually 6hrs... longest round of golf I've ever had.. for that much$ I have expectations!

As you approach the clubhouse, looking down at the 18th and 10th fairways, the beauty is amazing. The entire staff that I interacted with were kind, courteous and friendly.

The course was in great shape, the greens were in perfect condition and very difficult - not a flat surface to be found.

I enjoyed the beauty of the course and the playing conditions - an all around great experience and i will return!

Great course! Tee boxes, fairways and greens maintained very well. Finished in under 4 hours which was nice. Greens were very fast but consistent.

Great course. Challenging, but fair. Greens were firm and rolled great, but some of the slopes are extremely exaggerated so making sure you are below the hole is key.

As a new person to the area I was looking forward to playing a really nice golf course. Winchester country club fit that bill nicely. Overall the course was in good condition. The greens were smooth and quick which I like and the fairways were accepting and wide. Just because of timing, I was put out as a single in between a women's group and a men's group and though My round was completed in just over 4 hours, I was still waiting on almost every shot. Overall, I would be happy to return and certainly to recommend the course to anybody else.

I’ve play to many golf courses, This is one of the best so far, I was able to star my round 15 minutes early thanks to the stater, first time playing this course, it is in good condition, unfortunately was cart path only which makes the rounds longer to play other then that everything was good, I will come back since is only an hour drive and I’ll shoot Par or better from the tips if my game is on lol.
