Course well maintained. No bonkers. Fast greens. Some hazards.
Great wee course, very slow play
Great wee course in fantastic condition great lay out. Let down by very slow play, I don’t mind waiting a bit but at one stage 3 groups cued at a tee box.
Great 9 holes Course
But very good to see a 9 hole course with another 9 tee boxes with option if you wanted to full 18
pitchmark city
still winter golf conditions, so mats on the tee boxes (quite a few of these would need replaced, thread bare in places) a few moved quite far forward. a little soggy in places. pace of play was fine until the 15th/16th when it got backed up. worst part of the day were the greens. serious work needed due to the amount of unrepaired pitchmarks. alot were fresh, alot were very old. only takes a second to repair one, don’t understand why people can’t do that. on their fb page seems like alot of investment has gone into the hamilton course, would be nice to see them take care of the temple as it is a well laid out par3 course
Winter golf
Fairways damp in places but good overall. Greens in good condition.
Great par 3 course
The course it set up well, excellent value for money! Great for practicing short game and if you fancy a quick round of golf, although at times it can be annoying when you come across a 5 ball and they’re taking ages cause they’re messing around it doesn’t alter my opinion that it’s a great wee course and decent value for money
great little short course
the temple par3 course was in great nick, nice little layout and varying length of holes which is great for practising the wedges and irons. greens in better condition than when i last played here. blackwood is a great facility with practice areas for chipping/putting, driving range, pro shop and cafe. will be back
Great course
I played the par 3 Temple course as there is also a 9 hole course here too. It was very damp conditions but the course held up pretty well I thought. Very nice layout and greens were in pristine condition. Not very many hills if your a little unfit like myself or a little on the aged side. Also a very good driving range on site. Will definitely be back.
Course in good condition. Quick greens.
Fairways in good shape and greens quick. Long rough. Different types of hole each time.
Temple par 3
A great par 3 course, with eighteen holes, and value for money, great for those who want to improve the short game. Greenkeepers have done a great job, only negative is to other players, who can't be bothered, repairing divits, and ball marks on greens, shame on you.
