Carnalea Golf Club

Considering the tome of year the course was in a fair condition. Most Tee boxes were off mats and there is a fairway mat zone in force. Otherwise relatively dry with a few boggy areas.

first time playing carnalea, very impressed. the greens in particular were brilliant, no issues with pace of play even though the course was busy. quite a few short par4’s, and a couple of tricky severe dog-legs, but the par 3’s were the standout holes for me. great views all around the course, and friendly staff and members

Shortish par 69 parkland course with nice sea views.

Friendly staff, good service, nice clubhouse.

Unfortunately no practice facilities to hit balls before your round, not even a practice net.

Course in excellent condition, very windy,but a good days golf.

Unreal course, would highly recommend for the views alone but the conditions are always very good, fair play to the green keepers!!!

This is a lovely course by the sea. The front nine is very picturesque. Overall the course was in very good condition with the greens being the highlight!!

Myself and a friend played here on a Saturday and it was very enjoyable. Firstly the course was in incredible condition and it was a lot of fun.

Post round, we had a lovely meal in the restaurant where a few of the members came over and spoke to us, including the captain. Everyone was incredibly accommodating, something I haven’t experienced to this extent in many clubs before.

I will be sure to consider becoming a full time member at Carnalea after this experience.

The course was in very good condition the greens were fast and true and a credit to the green keepers pace of play was very good and the weather was great what more could you ask for

Interesting and challenging. It was the only course in the area that was not closed due to weather conditions so we were very pleased to be able to play. The welcome was friendly and atmosphere very relaxed. We had a delayed start due to a queue at the first tee (wish I had taker the cheaper later tee time on Golf Now). Most of the course was dry. The greens were still fast enough. Overall a good experience and quality course with nice views.
