Bright Castle Golf Club

First time playing Bright Castle, would definitely play again, decent course.. Greens and fairways in super condition. Added bonus of a fantastic backdrop of the Mournes. Stayed for a pint got talking to the pro shop/barman, couldnt do enough for us.

The course was in excellent condition can't wait to get back

Thoroughly enjoyed our round at Bright Castle today, course was in lovely condition.

My only criticism is that the course layout is a little unusual and it's not always clear how to get from green to tee in each case. Had to depend on GPS apps on a number of occasions.

A lovely course though and hope to return soon.

Enjoyed Bright again, play t a few times each summer

Tough windy conditions but the course was in great condition especially the greens

Only downside the bunkers had hardish sand then it had been raining heavy overnight

Not a bad course but the guy Arnie who runs it and his wife ( I think ) where absolutely terrible hosts kept telling us off before we even started then followed us round the course watching us just all because he didn’t know us will never be back

A real challenge, certainly worth a visit.

I will definitely play this course again.

Course is brilliant and the staff are even better. Excellent value for money. 10/10 would recommend

What a hidden gem of a course, tucked away with the Mournes as a perfect backdrop on several holes this was a very enjoyable course to play and we'll definitely be back.

A fair test for all golfers and superb greens given the amount of rain we've had lately, credit to the green keeping staff!

The weather was very kind to us which made the views of the mountains and the Isle of Man spectacular.

Lots of long holes with very interesting greens to keep you on your toes.

Overall one of the best we have played this winter and the first that has the directions for the tee off boxes

Will certainly be back.

Decided to play at Bright Castle after many years deliberating. Something of a bucket list choice.

Got lucky with nice weather and hired a buggy. The course was quiet and we got round in super quick time.

The opening two holes are par 5s so a testing start. From there the holes are of moderate length and fun to play. Love the par 3s and short par 4s that help the score card. The greens are good for this time of year and most are set on slopes which adds to the difficulty but also to the fun.

The only negative thing was the signage from green to tee. Several times we were left a bit perplexed, particularly the 14th tee that was a long way off. Being a bit picky though because the experience was great and the welcome warm.

Loved it and will definitely be back.

Really great wee course I'd never heard of before.

Considering how dry it's been, course was in great nick.

That said, could do with a few maps at each tee to show the hole layout: lots of doglegs and blind shots, especially on back nine.

Sprinklers in and around the green and you couldn't fault the course.

Got a buggy for 25 pounds and the round was 15 so all in all a great day out- class views from a few holes
