Eagle Landing Golf Club
About
The 7,037 yard Clyde Johnston design at Eagle Landing weaves through the Florida landscape and takes on a vintage feel as he incorporates several of the classic design holes from around the world into the par-72 layout.
"My goal, says Johnston is to intersperse classic holes such as the Redan Hole, the Eden, and the Cardinal into the routing in order to lend a sense of purity to the golf experience at Eagle Landing. Those individual designs are so technically and aesthetically complete that they can truly elevate a golfing experience."
Johnston's philosophy in designing a Club course remains the same as his other courses; begin each nine relatively easy and progressively get harder. The Eagle Landing course offers six sets of tees, from championship to youth tees, allowing the course to play as easy or as difficult as desired. Johnston's previous designs in northeast Florida include Eagle Harbor Golf Club, St. Johns Golf & Country Club, and Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.
Eagle Landing also offers a magnificent golf clubhouse with sports bar, fully-stocked pro shop, his and her locker rooms, and an elegant restaurant overlooking sparkling water and lush fairways. The staff of PGA professionals will coordinate a host of exciting tournaments and events on the course and in the clubhouse.

Cool Eagle Features
The course was in very good shape for a cool 50 deg early Monday morning. The greens were sandy but with a good stipmeter. The bar had great customer service. It was clean, staffed, and friendly.
Good golf, good value.
Inexpensive and impressive. Tee boxes and fairways pristine and well maintained. Greens were recently aerated but puttable. Breaks were hard to figure out. Not many divots on greens. Bunkers could use more sand and rakes could be added to speed up play. Liked the #of tee boxes to choose from. Overall, one of the better public courses in Jacksonville.
A Very Nice Day
First time played this course, exceptional conditions & lay-out. Will plan to play again (and again)!
Best course for money
Everything about this course is fantastic!!
Cost is great, greens are well kept!! Tee boxes in good shape
Club house is active!! Food is good
Best course around for the money!!
Excellent course
Well maintained , beautiful layout, nice greens but punch holes not totally filled
Little slow as we got stuck behind a gp of older gentlemen
Fast greens
Greens are in real good shape as they have been recently plugged. Pace of play was really good on first 8 holes but then went south from there on as I caught people in front of me as I was a single. Eagle Landing is a very fun course to play and have real nice layout with wide fairways and big greens. I will be back again.
Great conditions
It’s been awhile since we played at Eagle Landing and was very pleasantly surprised. We’ll be back!
Tee off should tell us what the green top dressing
Too Wet for the Price
The course was cart path only so many wet spots made for a long round of golf.
Best course in JAX Area
Great price, good mixture of difficulty, and great atmosphere.
Amazing Course!!
This course is one of the best in Jax for the money. I had read some reviews and had to check it out this weekend and I was blown away. I have golfed many different courses around Jacksonville in the last few months and this is one of the best values you can get, period. For 59 dollars the round included french toast breakfast, and then a burger and draft beer for lunch on the turn! Keep in mind this is only for weekend rounds! The course was in perfect shape, greens rolled perfect. Fairways were beautiful and the rough (if you can even call it that) was so short, soft and plush it felt like we were still in the fairway compared to some of the other courses I've played recently. I would not hesitate to check this course out. Their twilight prices after 3 make this an even better value. Will definitely 100% be golfing this course again!
Top notch
Best course on the west side of town and clay county.
Had a great time and course was outstanding condition. Looking forward to playing this course again.
