Eagle Landing Golf Club
About
The 7,037 yard Clyde Johnston design at Eagle Landing weaves through the Florida landscape and takes on a vintage feel as he incorporates several of the classic design holes from around the world into the par-72 layout.
"My goal, says Johnston is to intersperse classic holes such as the Redan Hole, the Eden, and the Cardinal into the routing in order to lend a sense of purity to the golf experience at Eagle Landing. Those individual designs are so technically and aesthetically complete that they can truly elevate a golfing experience."
Johnston's philosophy in designing a Club course remains the same as his other courses; begin each nine relatively easy and progressively get harder. The Eagle Landing course offers six sets of tees, from championship to youth tees, allowing the course to play as easy or as difficult as desired. Johnston's previous designs in northeast Florida include Eagle Harbor Golf Club, St. Johns Golf & Country Club, and Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.
Eagle Landing also offers a magnificent golf clubhouse with sports bar, fully-stocked pro shop, his and her locker rooms, and an elegant restaurant overlooking sparkling water and lush fairways. The staff of PGA professionals will coordinate a host of exciting tournaments and events on the course and in the clubhouse.

Love it
Love this course, nothing to complain about except Sunday twilight price is too high!
Worth the Drive
This course is in the best condition of any other I have played in the Jacksonville area in months. The fairways are wide and in great shape like every other part of the course. They have new carts and a nice clubhouse/pub & pro shop. The greens fee compared to conditions are the best in town. If you live in Jacksonville and have not played this course you really need to and if you are reading this from out of town you also need to play here the next time you are in Jacksonville. It's my new favorite course even though it's a 45 minute drive one way with good traffic conditions I think it's worth the trip and I will be back very soon.
Great course
The course is always in good condition. Drainage is great so it’s playable even after heavy rain. The staff is always friendly and the food in the clubhouse is great. I live close, so it’s convenient, but I’d choose eagle Landing over many other local courses.
Great course, great staff.
Been golfing this course since I played on the Middleburg Highschool golf team 10 years ago. Have friends working as some of the staff now. Course is in great shape, greens roll great, very well manicured. Friendly staff. Cart girls are amazing. Free beer and lunch with your game. If you complain about that go pay 150 and golf TPC. For the price, you cannot beat the day you’ll have at Eagle Landing.
Eagle Lake
Course was in excellent condition. I'll definitely play there again soon.
Fun to play
Enjoyed the course, easy access, polite staff, course in good condition
Keep it up
Had a great time. Course was in great shape. Tee boxes and fairways cut very nice. Rough didn’t penalize you too bad. Greens were 4/5. Rolled well but still coming back from aeration. Kudos to the maintenance crew. Keep up the good work. Well worth the drive from st Augustine. Better than St. John’s country club and Southampton in regard to condition and much better price!! Will be back regularly
Good course
Eagle landing has been well maintained. It is worthy driving almost one hour and half to play in this beautiful course.
Great shape and Breakfast, lunch and beer
Course wss in excellent shape, very enkoyable round. Grern fees still include breakfast, lunch and a beer.
Awesome time, well worth it
Nice layout
1st time there got rained out after 9 holes but like the course allot. Very fair nice wide fairways at least in the front 9 don’t know about the back. Actually gonna head there again tomorrow I live pretty close to this course and had know idea it was even there if it weren’t for golf now I still wouldn’t know it was there
I will give it another chance
I like the course, at least the front 9. Couldn’t play the back 9 because of some work being done on the cart paths. I totally get that and appreciate that they maintain. What bothered me about that is that this was not made known to me when booking a tee time nor when I checked in. One thing I hate is only playing 9 holes for a round but I hate playing the same 9 twice. Just a preference. Other than that, the front 9 was in good condition. Will play again once all 18 holes are open
