About
The 7,037 yard Clyde Johnston design at Eagle Landing weaves through the Florida landscape and takes on a vintage feel as he incorporates several of the classic design holes from around the world into the par-72 layout.
"My goal, says Johnston is to intersperse classic holes such as the Redan Hole, the Eden, and the Cardinal into the routing in order to lend a sense of purity to the golf experience at Eagle Landing. Those individual designs are so technically and aesthetically complete that they can truly elevate a golfing experience."
Johnston's philosophy in designing a Club course remains the same as his other courses; begin each nine relatively easy and progressively get harder. The Eagle Landing course offers six sets of tees, from championship to youth tees, allowing the course to play as easy or as difficult as desired. Johnston's previous designs in northeast Florida include Eagle Harbor Golf Club, St. Johns Golf & Country Club, and Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.
Eagle Landing also offers a magnificent golf clubhouse with sports bar, fully-stocked pro shop, his and her locker rooms, and an elegant restaurant overlooking sparkling water and lush fairways. The staff of PGA professionals will coordinate a host of exciting tournaments and events on the course and in the clubhouse.

Surprised they were slower
My favorite course, but lately the greens have been surprisingly slower than usual.

Great course, was in awesome shape, great pace of play, great bar!! Will be back!
My go to club
the golf course is always in really good shape, the traps are good the greens real good and the Fairway is excellent. I also like the full service restaurant and atmosphere, it keeps me coming back.
Nice Course
Third time playing Eagle Landing and that course is always in great shape. I have nothing bad to say about it especially when it was sunny and 75 degrees. Looking forward to knocking it around again and I am sure it will look just as good.
Need to adhere to tee time schedules
We had tee times but had several group backup most holes. Since it’s 9 holes, we hoped 2nd 9 would be clearer but so slow we stopped. Normally decent but too slow for our foursome after the Holiday.
Typical Eagle Landing
First time I have been back to this course in 18 months which is a shame as the course itself is usually in great condition. It is just the staff as a whole is not customer friendly and you are treated as an interruption. The main culprit is the one starter and thankfully he was not working this day but still pro shop to starter to ranger you as a customer are not treated well.
The standard for all golf courses
Eagle Landing GC should be the standard for all golf courses to follow. I have noticed a few other local Jax courses are following the ELGC template.
Great course
Best course in the local Jax area for us weekend hacker types. The course is always in great playing condition, the staff could be alittle more personable, the club house and resturant/bar is adequate and the costs of greens fee/cart is spot on. If you have not played this course I highly recommend it.
Great course for the value
The course was in great shape and the staff was awesome. Pace was pretty slow but that was the 4 some ahead of my 2 somes fault for not letting us play through. And then when the guy I was playing with dropped out after 12 holes they still didn't. But other than the lack of golf etiquette on that group the course is a must play for the price. Great layout and all around a great course
Best course by far in the Jacksonville area for the price. As fair a course as you will ever find in Florida. The greens were a tad bumpy due to being punched previously but had great speed to them and were overall in great shape. Would highly recommend for the price to play.
Cool Eagle Features
The course was in very good shape for a cool 50 deg early Monday morning. The greens were sandy but with a good stipmeter. The bar had great customer service. It was clean, staffed, and friendly.
