About
The 7,037 yard Clyde Johnston design at Eagle Landing weaves through the Florida landscape and takes on a vintage feel as he incorporates several of the classic design holes from around the world into the par-72 layout.
"My goal, says Johnston is to intersperse classic holes such as the Redan Hole, the Eden, and the Cardinal into the routing in order to lend a sense of purity to the golf experience at Eagle Landing. Those individual designs are so technically and aesthetically complete that they can truly elevate a golfing experience."
Johnston's philosophy in designing a Club course remains the same as his other courses; begin each nine relatively easy and progressively get harder. The Eagle Landing course offers six sets of tees, from championship to youth tees, allowing the course to play as easy or as difficult as desired. Johnston's previous designs in northeast Florida include Eagle Harbor Golf Club, St. Johns Golf & Country Club, and Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.
Eagle Landing also offers a magnificent golf clubhouse with sports bar, fully-stocked pro shop, his and her locker rooms, and an elegant restaurant overlooking sparkling water and lush fairways. The staff of PGA professionals will coordinate a host of exciting tournaments and events on the course and in the clubhouse.

Uninspiring
I will try and be nice. Other then $32.00 including cart was the best thing about this place and the cart girl who got someone to get me a new cart after mine broke down (phones were broken too) and had to walk 4 holes in 100 degree heat. She called the “bosses” cell and I can’t thank her enough. As for the course. It felt like every hole was the same. Just BLAH. Greens were fair...faster then they looked. Fairways were fair...extremely soft sand. Plays longer then yardage says. I could say a lot more about pace or other staff (or lack there of) but I guess if you want to play a new course for a decent rate if you haven’t played it you can see for yourself. Just make sure there’s a cart girl around. I heard I wasn’t the only one.
Covid procedures
They made me pay an additional 21 dollars to ride by myself. I will be notifying the local
News. This is the only course in the area that has this policy. I won’t be back to play here.
One of tghe best kept secrets in all of Florida
This used to be my home course and I moved to Texas. I came back and played yesterday and it was more beautiful than ever. Josh and the guys do a wonderful job of presenting a really great product from the golf course, the pro shop, and the restaurant is pretty special too. Super cheeseburger!
Great course
This course is always in great condition! Great layout.
4th Round
Love this course, layout and amenities. Greens are in the best shape of many of the courses within 20 miles. They are true and fast.
The cart lady with the knee brace could be a bit nicer! ;) She interrupted 2 shots and even with a hefty tip, did not say thank you. Maybe a bad day. Everyone has them!
Nice track with fast greens
Nice round of golf, had a group ahead of us a little slow... in this heat you want to keep moving. Always a nice round of golf and a good ranger Mike, helped us with the group!
Great golf course
This golf course has it all: some ondulations, not water to much and good bunker sand.

Even though the greens were punched a few weeks ago, they still ran fairly smooth. Good course.

Best Golf Course in Jax
A beautiful Course with high level of care for every aspect of the course! Staff was friendly and well mannered. Carts were clean and looked new. One of the most esthetic courses in Jax In my opinion only second to sawgrass’s PGATour level courses.
Great conditions and friendly staff
The course is in fantastic shape with great greens, tee boxes and fairways. The staff was exceptionally nice. Great round of golf.
