Eagle Landing Golf Club
About
The 7,037 yard Clyde Johnston design at Eagle Landing weaves through the Florida landscape and takes on a vintage feel as he incorporates several of the classic design holes from around the world into the par-72 layout.
"My goal, says Johnston is to intersperse classic holes such as the Redan Hole, the Eden, and the Cardinal into the routing in order to lend a sense of purity to the golf experience at Eagle Landing. Those individual designs are so technically and aesthetically complete that they can truly elevate a golfing experience."
Johnston's philosophy in designing a Club course remains the same as his other courses; begin each nine relatively easy and progressively get harder. The Eagle Landing course offers six sets of tees, from championship to youth tees, allowing the course to play as easy or as difficult as desired. Johnston's previous designs in northeast Florida include Eagle Harbor Golf Club, St. Johns Golf & Country Club, and Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.
Eagle Landing also offers a magnificent golf clubhouse with sports bar, fully-stocked pro shop, his and her locker rooms, and an elegant restaurant overlooking sparkling water and lush fairways. The staff of PGA professionals will coordinate a host of exciting tournaments and events on the course and in the clubhouse.

No rain checks after 2
Got to play 6 holes and then rained out. No rain checks after 2 is the policy. Would've not played. Good course through the first 6 holes. greens just aerated.
Fun Course in Good Shape
Eagle Landing is a moderately challenging course with a couple of holes that require good shot control. Otherwise, it's pretty forgiving and yet not easy per say. That makes it fun and the course is in very good shape. Greens had been aerated recently, but weren't too bad. That was the only thing that kept me from rating the course excellent. Definately will play again.
All the features;range, chipping area, practice greens were great!
Probably my 17-18th time playing at Eagle Landing. Always enjoy
Well worth the ride
This golf course has it all. Buy far the best value in Jacksonville. One minor complaint is that the sand traps have hardened and are tough to judge a proper shot. But LPGA had the same problem two weeks ago.
love the course
I always live to play his course. It is a great course with breakfast and lunch serve with paid tee time.
Hidden Gem
These are a great course and for the HOT DEAL price of $15 a tremendous value! The layout is forgiving with just enough water to keep you honest but plenty of chances to hit driver. I usually will play a fairway wood or hybrid off the tee on tighter holes but course is long enough to push you to hit driver most of the time but open enough to not make you regret it. The fairways are tight but the rough is short enough to allow you a chance to get to the green if you aren’t perfect off the tee. The greens were just aerated but still played relatively true and fast.
great layout
no beverage cart and the greens were air rated the day before on the the golf now page it had the date for the air ration was 4 months ago
Back nine
Had to play the back 9 twice as the front was being areated. I like the back better anyway. Greens were fast. Great course
enjoyed the changes keep up the good work
Enjoyed the course will certainly play again soon. Good layout and design. Course in great shape
GREAT SHAPE
The course is in great shape one of the best I've seen in Jacksonville , so far . the value with breakfast and lunch and 2 beers awesome . Unfortunately i was in a 2 some and 4 some in front of us were a bunch of kids with no golf etiquette . all 4 guys will go look for every single shot , and they were driving from the blue tees only hitting the ball less than 100 yards , if you are going to play from back there you at least should know what you are doing , i don't think the ranger did anything about it .
Very good condition
Hadn't played there in a few years but the course was in great shape and the greens were in excellent condition - nice and fast! Great deal as cost to play also included two drinks and lunch!
none
staff friendly, cart girl was available when required, good timing. Restaurant staff friendly.
Range balls were dead
Green was in very good condition
Enjoy my play there, course was in good condition. Staff was great
excellent service
cart was going dead Battery wise, they brought out a replacement very next hole, after we mentioned it to cart girl.. awesome service !!!
Well-maintained course
The course was in pristine condition and had extremely friendly staff. Best course I have played in Jacksonville.
sweet course tees to greens
great course. 6 sets of tee boxes so all types of golfers can play.
and ed the starter/ranger is a great guy. asset to the course.
The course is in great shape and has a wonderful staff
The course wasn't too challenging, but the length of the holes compensated for that. Although It was in fantastic condition, I would prefer the greens to be rolled better. Overall, I loved the course and really appreciated the super friendly staff. It's a course that is definitely worth playing!
Te course is in excellent shape. The greens have recovered from the recent airation.
I was a single with a 4 P.M. tee time. Was able to join up with a twosome with no problems. Pace of play was a bit slow but not excessive. Upon reaching hole #11 discovered there was a six-some playing ahead of us. Clubhouse was contacted and was able to correct the problem. Excellent response. A beautiful course. Looking forward to playing it again soon.
Great value for money
I paid 14 dollars to play on a golf now special. Tee time was 4 oclock, finished at 8 in a twosome. Did have a slower foursome in front which made us wait on some holes. Some of the greens were bumby from a recent punching. Most were in good shape. The fairways on this course can be very hard in places, but recent rain helped that. Tee boxes in good shape. Overall great value for 14 bucks
Why did I wait?
I have been wanting to play this course for a while and now that I have, I'm kicking myself for waiting. The staff was great - from the greeter that grabbed our bags to the attractive ladies driving the cart & tending the bar. We had an amazing time. If I had to change one thing, it would be the sand dispensers on the sides of the cart. There could be two per cart. Yep, I'm reaching, but that's how good the course is. I'll be back!
