Eagle Landing Golf Club
About
The 7,037 yard Clyde Johnston design at Eagle Landing weaves through the Florida landscape and takes on a vintage feel as he incorporates several of the classic design holes from around the world into the par-72 layout.
"My goal, says Johnston is to intersperse classic holes such as the Redan Hole, the Eden, and the Cardinal into the routing in order to lend a sense of purity to the golf experience at Eagle Landing. Those individual designs are so technically and aesthetically complete that they can truly elevate a golfing experience."
Johnston's philosophy in designing a Club course remains the same as his other courses; begin each nine relatively easy and progressively get harder. The Eagle Landing course offers six sets of tees, from championship to youth tees, allowing the course to play as easy or as difficult as desired. Johnston's previous designs in northeast Florida include Eagle Harbor Golf Club, St. Johns Golf & Country Club, and Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.
Eagle Landing also offers a magnificent golf clubhouse with sports bar, fully-stocked pro shop, his and her locker rooms, and an elegant restaurant overlooking sparkling water and lush fairways. The staff of PGA professionals will coordinate a host of exciting tournaments and events on the course and in the clubhouse.

Great first round
This is a beautiful course. Not for the total beginner as it is very challenging. I wasn't shooting great, but I shot 120 and normally shoot around 100. Greens are beautiful compared to other courses in the area. I will go back again for sure.
Good Course and Value
Course was in very good shape & GolfNow price was very competitive & included a meal & drink making it a very good value. Play got a little slow at times but overall just over 4 hours to complete a round!
One of the best in the JAX area
1st class all the way, bring your "A" game, challenging layout, but fair. You get what you hit. This is a $45 to $85 value course that was on Golf Now for $21, incredible deal!!!
Wide fairways, fair challange, greens in good shape
For the money and extras this is a great offer. Course in better condition than some more expensive courses I have played.
The course has wider fairways than most courses in the area to hit so you really have to play yourself into trouble making it ideal for beginners. Go blue or further and their are some nice risk and reward challenges for lower handicaps. This is simply a fun course with a nice layout where you can enjoy your round with out being over taxed
Great course
Great course and very friendly staff would recommend and will return
Friendly staff, fun course, great deal.
We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Super friendly staff. Course is in great shape.
Very nice course
I enjoyed the course very much. In very good condition. Greens rolled very nice. Ample room in the fairway for your drives. Fair amount of water. Very good value for your money.
Great day of golf
Enjoyable day of golf from the moment your arrive. Friendly staff and the course is excellent. Greens are as good as any in Jax/SA/PV area.
Great Shape
The course is in great shape. Greens are perfect. Fun course to play.
Very Nice Course, Fun and interesting.
Found the course to be in very good condition, a few greens are still recovering from airation. Fairways are in very good condition as are teeboxes. Fun layout without the often seen tricked out holes. I would recommend this course to the average player and above. 4 out of 5 for me. Looking forward to next time I get to play the course.
A very playable course in excellent condition.
This a a very user friendly course with just enough difficulty to make it challenging.
Never a bad day here!
Eagles Landing is a great course that is always in great shape. The greens were awesome and ran great. It is also very clean and the staff is friendly and the food is great!
No rain checks after 2
Got to play 6 holes and then rained out. No rain checks after 2 is the policy. Would've not played. Good course through the first 6 holes. greens just aerated.
Fun Course in Good Shape
Eagle Landing is a moderately challenging course with a couple of holes that require good shot control. Otherwise, it's pretty forgiving and yet not easy per say. That makes it fun and the course is in very good shape. Greens had been aerated recently, but weren't too bad. That was the only thing that kept me from rating the course excellent. Definately will play again.
All the features;range, chipping area, practice greens were great!
Probably my 17-18th time playing at Eagle Landing. Always enjoy
Well worth the ride
This golf course has it all. Buy far the best value in Jacksonville. One minor complaint is that the sand traps have hardened and are tough to judge a proper shot. But LPGA had the same problem two weeks ago.
love the course
I always live to play his course. It is a great course with breakfast and lunch serve with paid tee time.
Hidden Gem
These are a great course and for the HOT DEAL price of $15 a tremendous value! The layout is forgiving with just enough water to keep you honest but plenty of chances to hit driver. I usually will play a fairway wood or hybrid off the tee on tighter holes but course is long enough to push you to hit driver most of the time but open enough to not make you regret it. The fairways are tight but the rough is short enough to allow you a chance to get to the green if you aren’t perfect off the tee. The greens were just aerated but still played relatively true and fast.
