Bonita Fairways is situated near Bonita Beach, just a few minutes from the Southwest Florida International Airport. The executive golf course is made up of seven par 4s and the rest are par 3s. The unique layout will test both your short game and long game. There is water throughout the golf course, though the hazards are larger on the front nine than the back. The front nine has a variety of other challenges as well including sand traps and doglegs. The back nine at Bonita Fairways has a different character than the front with more rolling hills and valleys, but there are still plenty of doglegs and sand. It is definitely a golf course where you can hone your short game but there are a few opportunities to grip it and rip it as well.

Great Short Course

I was paired with 2 other guys and they were playing the whites so I did too. There was a significant difference between the whites and the blues on many holes of 40-50 yards. I ended up hitting my wedge or 9 iron on most par 3s and every par 4 was a drive and wedge. But it was a very nice layout. And it was good for my ego. Because the course was so short, I scored way better (68) than I usually do. par 61. I'll go back and play the blues some day just to experience the difference.

Short course means quick golf! Good shape for drought we have had. Off-season rate means super deal. I would say give this course a shot. Great for work on the short game and putting as the greens were quick and challenging. I didn’t try the amenities so I gave them no rating
