Bonita Fairways

a jewel of a short course. can work on your iron and short game. tees fairways and greens in superb condition. wish there were more par 4s, particularly on the back nine.

3rd day course was re-opened and the greens and fairways were marvelous. This was one of the courses that my husband and I loved to play together and since his passing, I still continue to love it! The cart guys are extremely friendly (especially the one from Ohio!) and the staff in the pro shop are always very helpful! I love this course and will continue to bring my friends and family who play golf to this course!

The course has been completely refurbished and is in great shape. I played in under three hours.

I did not know it when i bought my round that today was the first day of reopening since they redid course starting 6 months ago. Very friendly staff. Brunette gal at checkin desk has a great personality and wonderful smile….. course was the best i have ever played in terms of tee boxes, fairways, greens and bunkers. They have the nicest white sand bunkers around. Down side is that it is a very short course. Maybe too many par 3s especially on the back side Par is 31/30…..

That being said….. will play again especially with friends that are more novice players

I read other reviews that made this sound like an actual golf course, not the burnt up field that it actually is. I'm sure when the good Lord brings it some water it'll turn it back into a golf course but 'till that day comes.

We should have been told the course was being closed for the summer and all the grass was burned off.

The new management team is redoing the course this summer. Can’t wait for October. It should be a great executive course.

Nice beginner course, friendly staff... not worth $60 round... should be at least half of this price to even consider coming back.

My partner and I are newer to golf and this is a good course to feel comfortable playing. The people were very nice. We will be back.

Nice course with great staff. Very busy on the say we played but everyone was nice and kept things moving.

This course is the best value for the money close to me and the staff are great. It would be wonderful if they would put some money into the place and offset some of the costs by offering memberships. My wife and I would join.

Before my husband passed away in October 2020, we loved playing Bonita Fairways. The course presents unique challenges and is fun. The staff is the BEST of all of the courses we played together. The first time that I played there after my husband's passing, the cart attendant came to greet me and asked where my husband was. When I told him about his passing, he asked how I was doing, expressed his sincere condolences, and asked if there was ANYTHING he could do for me! When my daughter and I were there this weekend, he came and hugged me and asked how I was doing, where I had been, and made certain that everything was set up and ready for us on our cart. There was new (new to me) staff in the Pro Shop and they were equally friendly and not overbearing! Besides the price (a little too high for me to play all of the time), I would play this course over and over again over other courses if I could. I can't play as often as I like right now due to taking care of my elderly mother.
