Falls Village Golf Course

Course is in great condition except the traps. Love the track and the staff is super!

Bunkers have no sand. Fairways are ate up also. Moe fairway greens to short. Needs some rain and then some

There was not one sand trap on the course that was playable. There was no sand in any bunker. Literally, no sand. The layout was fun and at times scenic. Greens rolled fairly well but we’re still not completely recovered from being aerated.

Overall a great public course for $30!

Poorly maintained course. All sand bunkers are laden with weeds (some weeds are knee deep), mud and some are filled with water making them completely unplayable.Fairways are a mixed bag of grass and bare spots. Greens are serviceable.

I like the track/layout. There is some strategy involved in navigating most holes. That's the only positive.

Fairways were dying. Nearly all the bunkers are hard dirt or even rock. Green speeds are wildly inconsistent (along with unpredictable roll). Tee boxes were mostly ok.

I hadn't played here in a few years and now I remember why.

Layout was nice, but they need to cut there grass. Fairways ok, but a ton of weeds in the rough and you can tell it has not been cut in a couple weeks in several areas.

Course is in.good condition.. Bunkers need a lot of work.

Love the layout. poor bunkers and fairways thin but I like the course. greens good.

If you’re looking for a place to work on aspects of your game, I guess this is a decent place to do it. But if you want to play a top line course, this isn’t it.

This course has potential. However, in the year and a half I’ve been playing this course the bunkers continue to be in awful shape to the point you can not hit out of them.

The greens were rolled the two days before we played and as yo be expected, we’re not great. With some TLC this course could be one of the best in the triangle.

If you can find this course for around $30 you should do it but I wouldn’t pay more than that to play the course in its current condition.

Extremely friendly staff. Course was great. Everything about it was great.

I mentioned this to the staff in the clubhouse. Several of the holes on the course are defective. My ball would not go in them. No matter how many times i tried, and I tried a lot, my darn ball, which was perfectly struck, refused to go in the hole.

All kidding aside, I really like the course. It is challenging but gettable and you never have to play the traps, lol.

I have played the course 5-6 times in the past. I was very disappointed that first of all the staff was not there on time to open the course. Once there, they were apologetic and nice. The problem was that, with no notice they only were opening 9 holes so they could aerate the other 9. We played the back 9 and when we came around to play the back again, the pace was so slow that we left after playing only 2 more holes. Made for a very disappointing partial round of golf. Only other comment is that the sand traps are simply gravel pits. It is not worth damaging a club to try to hit out of them.
