About

Located just southeast of Phoenix in the town of Florence, Poston Butte Golf Club offers some of the most affordable golf in the area. The course has desert attributes but the best part about its design is that it is more forgiving than some of the overgrown desert courses found in north Scottsdale. The golf course features 49 sand traps strategically placed around the landing zones and greensides and water comes into play on two holes. It is generally a player-friendly layout though with wide fairways and ample room off the tees. The par-3 17th is the signature hole, which is known for its challenging island green. Poston Butte also offers a double-ended, targeted grass range and a short game area.

Good Day Out and Great Staff

Highly recommend playing the course at Poston Butte. I have now played there twice in a week and confirmed that the incredible staff are welcoming and friendly and start your day off perfectly.

Course in good condition, decent layout with some challenging holes. Greens rolling well and plently of sand in the bunkers which is unlike several courses i have played in the Phoenix area recently. Will definitely be back again soon.
