CAME BACK AFTER A LONG ABSENCE
I only have one observation to make.
If a municipality decides to step in and own & operate a golf course, then you better be prepared to layout some serious funding.
You need maintenance staff...none visible.
You need starters and rangers...none visible.
You need construction upgrades...none visible.
Ocala Municipal is the model you sho up old follow.
Careful
Don’t be fooled by the 4 star rating, I’m sure there is some palm greasing going on between Golfnow and Casselberry, this is a 2 star at best. It is a challenging course and requires pinpoint shots off some tees and to the greens. The greens are likely some of the smallest you’ve played and that I did enjoy. DO NOT go play this course by yourself for the first time, it winds through a subdivision and has several areas where you will cross roads and in one case a major intersection with your golf cart.
Great green condition!
Although it was a cold morning, the course was in great condition. The greens had a great color and very good speed. The gas golf carts threw me off at first, but a very enjoyable round. Would play again.
Casselberry G.C.
This was the 1st time playing this course. We found it challenging, and enjoyable. We would play it again. The course made us think on what to play, and how to play each hole, due to their unique challenges.
Casselberry Feb 22, 2020
Interesting course layout. Somewhat tight but somewhat short so don't need driver much. Course winds through a community (not a gated community). Fairways and tees in fair condition. Greens in good condition. Has D/R, chipping and putting greens. Can do better for the money. Having said that I would play here again.
Golf outing
Haven’t played much golf the past year. This course was a great one to get back into the game. Fairways are narrow. Course is not too long.
Great Day with only a few Cons
Casselberry is quickly becoming the experience Dubsdread used to be for the price. The layout is fun and there are a few holes which really challenge your meddle or how brave you feel.
The greens look great and are challenging as the grain is actually important in reading putts.
Only negatives: 1) I don’t think their app communicates with GolfNow so be prepared for a long round; and 2) these are by far the slowest greens I have ever played in Orlando.
Good course just really wet
The course was a great layout
The ground was really wet
Greens were in good shape just needed cutting to make them faster
Interesting layout
Interesting layout. There are some challenging feature
Great Greens
Very true greens that were consistent throughout. Not a long course but you do have to plot your way around. Very enjoyable. I will go back

Use their app it will save you money. We had a great time.
GEM!
I’m relatively new to golf, but I’ve played nearly all the courses around the north Orlando region. This course is a bit easier than most Given the distance,, but don’t underestimate the greens! They are some of the nicest, most challenging greens in the area, and they are extremely well manicured. If you’re looking to have a great casual round without any of the typical “snobbiness” of most Orlando courses, you won’t have a more enjoyable round, and you’ll probably shoot your best score ever. Great driving range, chipping and sand practice areas too. Inexpensive and friendly staff. That’s why this place is a gem.
