Interesting course
The course is not long but very interesting. The condition is not to bad compared with other courses. You need to be straight. It is well Worth playing the course.
short
It is a short course. Rain was threatening, so it was not crowded & we played in 2 hours & 40 minutes. Front nine was wet. Making some improvements. Liked the first tee changes. The course needs more TLC.
Course is in nice shape
The first few holes were a little wet, played there early am. The rest were in good shape. All the greens were good.
Great value
Got it on a $10 tee time, totally worth it, for the price of a basket of balls at the range I would much rather get in 18
If you just need some practice
I went to Casselberry GC to sign up for my GHIN score keeping and decided to play 18 holes. The price was right. The greens aren't bad, fairways okay but the rough is a mixture of every florida weed there is. Very wet course all of the time.
Wet and challenging
The course doesnt drain well. You get little or no roll so add one or two clubs to your yardages. The front nine holes are much more difficult than the back nine.
Short but deceptive
Deceptive owing to tiny greens nestled amid hazards.
If you can't hit a 150 yd lob, you will lose every ball you hit at the #1 tee. Ditto at #2. Your 2nd shot at #3 & #4 is nearly impossible. I've played this course a dozen times and have yet to reach those greens in regulation. Luckily the course gets easier.
Decent Course
Second Cut was REAL low. greens were in OK shape.
not crowded for a saturday.
Hidden Gem
Lots of recent care on several of the holes have made this an enjoyable outing. Greens roll moderately but are in good condition, fairways are steadily improving and almost all tee boxes looked in good condition. If it rains heavily the day before, expect the course to be soggy, but this is due to the low lying areas on the front 9 only. Highly recommend if you haven't played it, this and Deer Run are tucked away and are equally as fun.
Fun, older course that has unique holes through a quite neighborhood
I used to play this course about 5-10 years ago but have moved so haven't had a chance to play it recently. I recommend this course if you have never played it. It is good for beginners due it not being as popular so you will not be rushed. This course would be great for advanced golfers as it does take pretty accurate shots off the tee.
This is a pretty fun course that runs through a neighborhood. It has very narrow fairways with trees and houses on either sides of most holes.
Fairways were average, greens were above average, tee boxes were really nice for the holes that have been redone. A few holes need improvement but for the most part looks great. The course is watering it frequently so the course is a little waterlogged which causes some small problems when the ball would be buried deep in the mud.
There are only 2 par 5's and both are on the front 9. There are 2-3 par 4's that are easy to try for the green in one shot. There is a fun, unique par 4 on the front 9 that you have to hit over water twice to reach the green. Bring some extra balls as there seems to be water on every other hole.
Will play this course again if I get a chance when I visit. Golf now rate was great for this!
Beer Golf
good place to go if you wanna really throw the beers back
Warm up course
Very nice open warm up golf course.....greens very below average, but for the price of 18 holes can not complain...
It could be a diamond...
...but unfortunately it doesn't even earn sand pebble. Crying shame that the potential in this course is lost in it's lower than low budget. Needs a million dollars but could get double or triple the rounds at a 50% higher price...least that how it looks to me. I 'could' love this course and yes I'll play it again.
terribly maintained
course layout wasn't bad but the course is terribly maintained. Green are in pitiful shape and the fairways are even worse. Food/beverage is way over-priced. this was my first.........and only trip to this course.
Great value!!
Course was in pretty good shape, we have had a lot of rain lately so a couple of the holes had to be modified, but overall it was an enjoyable day. This course is a great value for the money, I mean seriously $10 with cart on a Sunday morning!! There was a little bit of a log jam through tthe first 4 holes but after that we only waited maybe twice to hit the rst of the day.
This course is good for walking
Price is so great and any time I can get tee time but not early tee time for discount price
This course has everything driving range, putting green, and chipping practice
I can stay here all day if I could
This course is in bad condition
This has to be one of the worst courses in Orlando. The tee boxes had no grass on them. The fairways were like hitting out of a bunker. This course should pay you to play here. I have never seen such bad conditions on a course every in my life.
Cow pasture
Back 9 is good for warm ups. the only part worth playing.. Looks like closer is likely.. Go play Deer Run instead..
fairways are rough, greens are moderate shape but slow
The course has some rough sections and they are working on first hole tee boxes. Lots of standing water on the front nine so bring extra balls. But for 18$ with a cart how can you not.
Improving slowly
It's not a bad place to enjoy rolling the rock. But it can be messy on wet days. It's good for kids, beginners and seniors to hang out. They have a good practice facility for improving putting, chipping and range balls are cheap. The course needs improving around the fairways and fairways themselves need improving on dry spots and divot areas.
