Country Club of Coral Springs

First time playing this course. Got disappointed at the beginning with the driving range that you can hit only irons. (Staff at the pro shop informed us about it, which was a good thing to do). Round started a little slow, but later into the play, pace became normal.

Generally speaking the course is in good shape. Greens are soft (hold shots nicely) with nice rolling speed. There are some holes where water is in play, that makes it challenging. Few brown spots along the way, but again it was worth it. Really enjoy, will play it again.

Course staff was far from friendly as the pro behind the counter changed our teetime without any notice to us.

I booked for 10:50 and then the pro advised that it was changed to 11:06. They allowed a last minute member group to go out and pushed us back with no notice to us. We still didn't tee off until 11:30 because of the last minute groups they added.

A prior call of the time change would've been nice and respectful and no problem but the pro decided it wasn't needed. He was arrogant and not apologetic at all. He didn't care one bit. I'm sure he wouldn't like that to happen to him.

Course in good shape, staff not so much.

If you go, plan on being delayed and pushed back without notice and poor staff working behind counter. No friendliness. They need hospitality training

Great conditions, amazing layout. The 9th hole par 3 is an interesting one over water. Has character. There's also a drivable par-4 but it's not an "easy" hole either if you don't get it on or near the green. So lots of fun. For the price I think it's one of the better kept secrets in South Florida.

Note: They have a driving range but it can be pretty confusing and a far drive with your cart from the clubhouse. Only weird thing about the course.

The country club of Coral Springs is one of the best values during the high season here in South Florida. It has a great layout and is typically in great shape. The greens are always rolling at a fast speed and the course usually doesn’t disappoint.

Round started out super slow but the ranger actually talked to the 2 groups ahead of us to keep it moving and they picked up the pace. Greens were in great shape and tee boxes and fairways were solid. Staff was all super friendly and helpful.

Good experience playing in this course first time.

This is a really well maintained and semi-challenging course. The greens were running extra fast.

I don’t write reviews, but this was an interesting course

-Cart Employees are top tier, great people

-Greens were solid, average fairways and a whole lot of hard bottom bunkers (you can use a putter out of the sand)

-Very short course, par is 60. Keep that in mind when paying almost $50 for a round. You already are 12 strokes short of full golf.

-Surrounded by mid grade apartments and the residents are not exactly friendly.

— All in all, I would play here midweek for $20 if I could… and tip the employees the rest. It’s just not a top tier “executive” course. If you’re a local, you will love it. If you are visiting, might want to check around for that south Florida tier course

My Son and I play every Sunday all over South Florida. This course is the best we’ve played at this price level. Definitely coming back no aggravation with learners , and groups of 4 tying up time.

If you got the hit deal and only have to pay 30$, then it’s okay. The greens were most likely in good conditions. However, no bunkers at all, fairways are most likely not in good conditions. Tee zones were very bad.
