Country Club of Coral Springs
About
The Country Club of Coral Springs offers one of the best golf values in Broward County. The golf course sits next to an Everglades conservation area on a parcel of land that was formerly used for vegetable gardening and cattle grazing. The landscape was transformed into a traditional parkland golf course with manicured fairways edged with rough and lush, rolling greens. The bunkering is minimal but strategically placed throughout. There are some challenging holes that will make you think but the course is player friendly enough to appeal to players of any skill level. The Country Club of Coral Springs is popular among the surrounding communities, known for its excellent conditions and family-friendly atmosphere, but it's also a hidden gem for visitors too. In addition to golf, the club also has six tennis courts available.

Too many gophers
I realize that golf courses are closing one after the other, and that those left hand pack the course and charge whatever they want. That said too many golfers and too slow play does not make for a happy day. It was so busy that there was a waiting line for carts. I guess you can’t fault businesses for wanting to make as much money as they can but I found a day exhausting and the delay from the tea boxes did not enhance the golf.
Good course
Interesting layout, good condition.
That course is for intermediate and advance player…not beginner
Decent Track For The Price
We played 3 courses on this trip. Coral Springs ($102), Eagle Trace ($120) and Jacaranda West ($212).
This course is fairly flat and is basic in thier design. The tees and fairways were better than Eagle Trace. Thier greens were good but not as good as Eagle Trace. Little slower and about 3 greens had some small bad areas. The par 3, 9th hole is the best hole on the course. For the price of $102, this course is worth playing.
This course has numerous rangers and pace of play was excellent.
A couple of negatives about the course is the mixture of sand and paved cart paths. Just gives the course an uneven feel. It would be helpful if they had GPS or maps of the holes on the scorecard. When playing it for the first time - this would have been helpful. The 18th hole is really short.
We thought the food and service in the resturant was excellent. One of the best pulled pork sandwiches. They also had the new Buffalo Trace's whiskey called the Traveller, which was a nice touch.
Good location , fair value
Good location , nice layout , average condition , good green condition , overall fair value
Nice and Open
Just the right amount of challenge especially on the greens.
Course was in descent shape.
Pretty open fairways
Definitely worth playing.
Decent course, green are true
Worth the money to play. The course was in decent shape compared to others that cost more. Fairways were in fair shape. Greens in good shape, no bare spots to speak of. There were a couple that had small areas < 2 ft repaired. But only a couple. Even those were %99.99 in great shape rest of green and putted smooth. All the other greens were well kept. Would play here again. Actually cancelled a round at a well know course down the road and booked another round here. For the money was a much better deal. Played whites. Front 9 long, back 9 a little shorter but Still not a short course. Some nice holes that required shot selection to be correct. Lots of slope on greens that added to challenge. Fairways generous in some landing areas, tight in others. Bunkers had decent sand. Overall a fun course that had teeth if challenged.
Way too much money per person for this basic course. Greens were nice but the fairways were crap. $120 a head is way overpriced for an 11am tee time. Great staff and cart girl. Will not be going back there again.
Nice course and layout, but very slow
Course was in good condition and had really good greens for a public course. The pace of play was around 5 hours and we also started 20 minutes late, so it was about a 6+ hour day at the course.
Mixed message
Fun day of golf! Turf was only in fair condition due to slice aeration. But the layout is good and challenging. Nice course but somewhat over priced.
Looked it up as a Golf Now Hot Deal for $54 plus change. By the time I heard back from friends it had gone up to $74 + change. No longer a Big Deal.
Definitely worth a return engagement.
The staff, upon arrival was efficient and attentive. Best presence of a course ranger that I have seen having played 3 total courses in the area. The only negative was the foursome ahead of us that seemed to not take into consideration that our four was constantly being held up by their pace of play.
Other than that it was overall a VG experience and I would play there again.
course review
First playing at this course I found it pleasing and challenging. the water hazards killed e on the back 9. Had fun and my guests said great price for the course. will come back.
