Country Club of Coral Springs
About
The Country Club of Coral Springs offers one of the best golf values in Broward County. The golf course sits next to an Everglades conservation area on a parcel of land that was formerly used for vegetable gardening and cattle grazing. The landscape was transformed into a traditional parkland golf course with manicured fairways edged with rough and lush, rolling greens. The bunkering is minimal but strategically placed throughout. There are some challenging holes that will make you think but the course is player friendly enough to appeal to players of any skill level. The Country Club of Coral Springs is popular among the surrounding communities, known for its excellent conditions and family-friendly atmosphere, but it's also a hidden gem for visitors too. In addition to golf, the club also has six tennis courts available.

Amazing Greens
These greens are great. Even sanded and aerated these things roll better and faster than any greens within a 50 mile radius. The fairways and tee boxes aren’t perfect but definitely playable. The great big and sloping greens make up for anything else you might find wrong about it. A++
Fun and Challenge Course
The greens are excellent: smooth, undulated, and fast. Fairway and tee box conditions are average but the excellent green would balance out to make your round fun and challenge. I would give a 4.5-star overall and I am a frequent player here. Highly recommended!
Excellent Public course
The staff treated us like members and the course was in excellent shape and challenging
Finding Coral Springs
Finding the Springs was very hard early in the dark morning at 645, sun not up yet.
All the Staff was very friendly, nice and helpful.
I got paired with 2 locals, Pete & Les who were great to play with.
The greens made the experience very challenging. Most Florida courses are flat. but with some recent renovations, some mounding made me feel like I was playing back in NJ.
The greens were just aerified, but didn't effect play at all, they ran true and fast. EXCEPTIONAL
The course had many interesting holes, but no tricked up shots to deal with.
Overall I will place this on my list to play when I come back to Boca again next year.

BEST GREENS AROUND
It's no wonder that the recommended percentage from reviewers is so high (90%). The first hole is really short & that should be applauded because it gives you a chance to get a good start to your round. These greens still had faint marks from aeration, but they were almost lush and they have to be among the fastest in the area. It's a good value. The only thing that I could criticize is that there is not much information on the layout and if you don't know where the water is on particular holes, you will find it. I understand that GPS is a luxury, but yardage books would be nice or a representative layout for each hole on the scorecard would help. My group will book this in the future for sure.
Good value
Overall a very nice course. My only gripe is that the speed of the greens (super fast) combined with the pin placement made putting too difficult on many holes,
Worst Experience I Have EVER had in 20 years playing golf!
Golf is supposed to have class and provide an experience - this place had neither... and I will never go back. (Long read ahead, but if you want an awful golf story, here you go!)
In from NJ, been golfing 20 years and never had a worse experience at a golf club. I walk up, and they are doing renovation on their new clubhouse, that's not a big deal, but the workers are blasting mariachi music and the front of the course is a disaster. A guy nicely offers to take my bag and asks me "are you with the Can-Am group?" I say no, I have a 10:30AM tee time single... FYI I booked this 2 weeks out through the CC's online portal.
They point me to a guy sitting at a picnic table with a cash box, who is speaking french to a group. This is where I have to pay? OK? They do have trailers set up for the makeshift clubhouse, but we don't pay in there today. My name is not on the tee sheet, and this guy who obviously doesn't work for the club is taking my greens fees and tells me, he will try and fit me in with a group of 10 French Canadians. I said, fit me in? I have a tee time and showed him the reservation confirmation. He then points me to a 25 year old kid who is kind of organizing the Canadians and says, hey, can you add this guy to one of your threesomes? Wait, what? Isn't that the starters job?
Whatever, it is 10AM at this point, I want to go to the driving range to prep for my 10:30AM tee, and another guy, who might work at the club, a portly man with a beard and a horrendous green shirt walks over and said well your group is going to the 1st tee. I look at the first tee and there are literally 8 carts surrounding it, parked in all different directions, full of Canadians just doing whatever they want. I said "what is going on here?" and he said, oh, there are four groups here, so you will just go with one of them... and if you go to the driving range now, we may not be able to get you in the rest of the day. At this point I am like, wait what? I am going to the driving range right now, and by the time I get back I can easily go with one of the 4 groups standing all together on the tee.
Who is running this course? No starter, no rules, no organization, and absolute rude staff (portly man with beard especially).
I shake things off, hit some balls on the range, come back at 10:25 for my 10:30. Surprise surprise, there are still two groups and I can join one. Portly man actually was nice here and said, he would take me over and get my bags on one of the carts. Fine, I am going to play, it is what is it. He literally, without talking to any of the guys on the tee, takes my bag, straps it onto a cart, and says "good luck" and leaves! Not introducing me, not telling what group I am playing with, just see ya later! What a disgrace.
I stood on the tee box for 10 minutes, without anyone telling the group in front of us to hit. They let the group in front of them finish the entire hole before teeing off. The guy on the tee - no joke wearing a hoodie - tees up his shot and scuffs it 10 yards to the right, promptly teeing up a 2nd he scalds into the water on the right. I grabbed my bag, headed back to the starter and said, I am going home.
That round was going to be 6 hours easy, and the absolute disorganization was the worst I have ever experienced in golf. I am on vacation, turned up to a golf course, and literally had to leave without playing a hole. I went inside the trailer and told the guy behind the desk that I was leaving because there is no organization whatsoever and he gave me a free range token.
If you are still on here and reading this, this course and its ratings are an absolute sham. Do not waste your time. I cannot vouch for the course itself because I did not play it, but the customer service alone should drive everyone away immediately.
Great layout
This course test strategic shot making, you can't go for it all , it a target course chose your misses, it will test you, and your club selection, vision perception is a must when selecting a club, plenty of water on doglegs, greens are fast, and undulating, enjoy your slow down, and make good shots.
Slow play for most of the round
This course is one of our favorites but this time probably too many twosomes were allowed resulting in very slow play for much of the round. While we prefer to play without another twosome, this is definitely a double-edged sword. Sadly, if the course is this busy now, imagine what it might be like once their new clubhouse opens, presumably later this year.
Everything was fine to start. They double teed but then single teed before the early rounds turned so the second nine was a very slow and boring round. Otherwise course was in great shape.
nice day
Great temps, but windy. Pace was great, staff was great fun day
Good Course Layout
Course was in good shape. Play here will be more enjoyable when facilities are done. Lawnmowers SHOULD NOT be driven around in front of golfers teeing off. It was like a challenge to hit them. Very discourteous!
