Eagle Trace Country Club

Played for the 5th time on a visit . The Course was in really good condition and overall a really fun time.

My foursome is from out of state and we had the misfortune of following a minor-league pro tour event. There was severe wind and after spending nearly 3 hours on the front nine, I was so exasperated that I sat out the back nine but my other friends continued. I was glad that I did because it started raining sideways on the back nine while I chilled in the bar. I rated the pace of play one star because of the circumstances in following the last foursome in the minor-league event. Overall, this course is interesting and is fairly priced. I am writing this nearly a year after the event and wanted to state that I have secured a tee time for this year.

Once a great golf course now the clubhouse and amenities are in terrible condition golf course is OK very sad situation there

1st class from start to finish. 4 hour round very relaxed pac never pushed.

A little pricey but a great winter round of o golf.

I had volunteered at The Honda Classic at this course in the early 80's. It has fallen way down in its condition since then and I believe it went bankrupt at one time. Not worth $63 compared to other courses in the area

I finally got a chance to play this course. It is now where the courses are getting more crowded and therefore the pace of play is getting slower. There was a mix up at the first tee as tee times got mixed up and my tee time had a two some that already teed off before the group that was supposed to be before us, and that I didn't get told to go to the first tee and therefore got split up with the two some I was supposed to be playing with. Another single that was also to make up the 4 some missed and him and I played 2 holes as a two some, then the group in front of us let us play through to catch up to the other twosome that we were supposed to play with.

There is too much water on this course. I hit a great 7 iron that was only 5-10 yards pushed to the right of the green, where there is water in front of the green and right behind the green, with maybe 3 feet of landing between the two on the right. It's not an island green, but a good shot like that should not be lost in the water.

It needs a lot love and it could be nice again. Just not kept up-to-date with the times.

Great layout! This course has to be the best value in South Florida. Greens roll so true. It's a tough challenge but well, well worth the time and money.

This is a beautiful course (long). The tee boxes are in bad shape and the fairways were difficult to differentiate from the rough in certain areas. The sand traps are almost non existent (I am guessing they let them grow in because of COVID and no raking). The greens were almost perfect, but a lot of players are not fixing their ball landings on the greens. Overall it is a bit pricy for not having an excellent grounds crew.

Thoroughly enjoyed this course. Lots of challenging holes with a lot of water. Greens rolled very well. Fairways were a little damp so often not much roll out. Staff was exceptional and sensitivity to COVID was very apparent. One golfer to a cart. Anxious to play it again.

Excellent golf course and location. Greens somewhat inconsistent in speed but well maintained and challenging.
