It is what it is...

I can only imagine what this place was back in its heyday as now it is very tired...from the parking lot to the building to the course itself.

That being said, you're out on a beautiful day driving a little gas-powered cart around and hitting a golf ball while drinking a beer or two and smoking a cigar.. all for pretty short money. What's not to like?

Rough shape

Almost all the greens were in very rough shape, which was half expected from the low price. However, the staff apparently thinks they work at Fort Knox, as we were chased down by two workers who had never heard of someone playing through after we were waived up by another group. Weird experience.

Condition

The condition of the course was in need up some up keep! Greens had been aerated maybe a week ago but some had no sand in the holes and it appeared the were in need of it about 6 months ago. Tee box were a bit bare. I really like the layout and the challenge of the course. I am a little upset with the higher rating of the course.
