No Pelicans, No Bay . . .
Just a straight forward no tricks round of golf (except for the water across the 16the fairway-- good thing I looked at the diagram). An enjoyable layout, a little rainy, water everywhere, seemed like both sides of every hole, but mostly out of play today. I had fun. I'd go back . . .

Course maintenance decided to water every green just as I was starting each hole, so by the time I reached the green every one of them was soaking wet.
When I complained at the pro shop at the turn, it was.."to bad, so sad, it was too cold earlier in the morning to water, and I just happened to be on the course when it had to be done - sorry!"
I will have to think twice about playing here again - good price or not.

first time back in about 6 months, conditions still poor.
greens still have plenty of bare spots and are very slow

I played this course in the 90’s before moving away 20 years ago. It was one of the premier courses in the area. I’ve moved back now and see the course has significantly declined. The pro shop staff were super friendly and informative. The restaurant/clubhouse is currently closed due to COVID-19.. There is not a beverage cart service but you are able to purchase a beverage in the pro shop.The course is playable but at $20 attracts novice golfers who have yet to learn to pick up after double par or wave a single player through on a par 3. It also attracts golfers who park near and sometimes on the greens. All that being said, if you are looking to work on your game, this is a great layout that makes you choose wisely from tee to green.

This course has crabgrass everywhere. Gigantic holes in the greens of dead grass and tractor tire tracks. Bad bad bad. Never will come back.
