Morgan Creek Golf and Country Club

Course was in pretty good shape, just needs a little time for the grass to grow back in. Fun to play and the staff are awesome people. The starter was great.

I was caught off guard when booking this course through the Golf Now app. I upgraded by account with the Golf Pass, so I don't have to pay the convinence fee each time a book a tee time. I ended up booking 2 tee times for the same day, as I wasn't sure if I was going to have only 2 or 3 players. Once confirmed (the night before our round), I cancelled the time for 3. I didn't look close enough when booking the original tee times, but Morgan Creek charged my card for both tee times (full green fees) when I booked. Now, when I cancelled the tee time I no longer needed, there was NO REFUND provided by the course. Instead, I now have a "credit" on the Golf Now app of $156, which I will need to figure out how to use. I am writing this review because Morgan Creek is the only course I have booked through Golf Now that makes you pay your entire green fees UP Front, before you play your round. And they do not have a phone number to call the pro shop, so the only way to book a time is through the app. That is bad business, and I will not play there again.

Course layout really fun but course has very hard ground and bunkers

Someone was driving on the greens and on the tee boxes. It would probably help if there was a marshal managing course etiquette. Also, there is not a cart person for food or drinks which majority of other course in the area do.

Course conditions need improvement. Bare spots in the middle of fairways aren't good. Greens weren't in as good a condition as usual as we were finding MANY unrepaired ball marks on just about every green.

Excellent weather, good pace of play. Course was a little wet. Elevated greens were challenging. Bunkers were poorly maintained and played like a 'waste land'.

Love the layout of this course. A number of tee shots require precision accuracy. Some of the rolling fairways make for an interesting approach shot. The greens are usually fast & some have challenging undulations & levels. It rained a few days ago for a few days. 90 degree cart rule respectively. Still had some slop scattered around & constantly cleaning my ball but should have been expected. Doesn't look like it until you're out there. Including some traps, maintenance is to be had. With that said though, while they are working, they make it a point to honor your shot & stop working. Kudos. But overall, hit the fairway hit the green, bottom line & no complaints! Snack bar / bar girl is absolute sunshine. All the staff have been great each time I've been out there, & this particular time I was able to overcome a tee time issue w/ their help. Very grateful & thank you. Look forward to my return.

Tee time was right on s expected 12:30, it was windy and cold, but we finished as it was getting dark. I will be bak, but next time just a bit earlier tee time!

I've played this course many, many times, from back when it was private to when they opened to the public to now. Conditions have definitely gotten worse over the years, but yesterday, at least, the course was in good shape. Still some not great areas, particularly the bunkers, but the fairways were much better, with minimal bare spots. I suspect the heavy rains in November & December helped a lot.

The greens were in decent shape as well, a little shaggy but not pock-marked disasters. Balls rolled fairly true but a little slow.

I hope management applies necessary fertilizer and grass seed to continue the improvement of the course.

The course was in good shape considering the time of year and recent rain. The greens were rolling true. The pace of okay was little slow for a mid week round. Overall, it was an enjoyable round of golf.

Greens are fabulous, course and features are medium difficult and gorgeous. The day after New Years day was very wet and although we rode cart paths only as required, there were deep grooves from carts on the fairways. I would definitely recommend this course.
