Mediocre at best
Ownership doesn’t put any money into this course. Tee boxes were mud pits. Greens were alright compared to city courses but that isn’t saying much. Fairways are patchy
Unique challenge
There was definitely some hard pan spots throughout the course, if you missed a green or fairway good chance your balls going to run 20 yards further and into some trouble. The greens were fantastic. Forces you to play extremely accurate. Once my ball found hard pan in the fairway I just simply moved it a yard to the left. Sand is good Layout is extremely fun I love it. The staff is an awesome group probably the most friendly I’ve encountered. I think the winter will be friendly to this course and by spring a lot of those rough patches will be better.i finished 18 in 3hr 25 min.
Great Day
My son & I thoroughly enjoyed our round yesterday, we had great weather & got around in just over 3 hours. We love the course, it is in great condition, staff friendly, & great bar & grille. Looking forward to playing there again soon.
Wait till the Spring
Course is in fair condition, but this spring it should be much better.
Nice course layout …
The course layout is very good. The condition is good for this time of year. The greens were sandy, but in good condition. The ball rolled consistent for green to green. The round slowed down a bit on the back 9, likely caused by the sudden change in weather; cold and little rain. I highly recommended this course.
LACKS MAINTENANCE
COURSE NEEDS A LOT OF WORK. WORSE CONDITIONS SEEN AT THIS BEAUTIFUL COURSE. NEVER SEEN IT INTHIS TERRIBLE CONDITION DUE TO LACK OF MANPOWER AND HARSH SUMMER CONDITION
Pace of play
Over five hours to play.. Fairways and surrounds terrible.
It's in great shape for the shape it's in.
There were a few downed trees and some of the tee boxes were a bit worse for wear, but in general, we were pretty happy with the course. No fault of course management was the condition of the greens...too many people simply don't pick up their feet and cause so much unnecessary damage. All in all, it was a great afternoon of golf and we'll definitely be back.
Needs some TLC
Greens are great except #16. Fairways need a lot of work. Dry dirt patches everywhere. Bunkers look dead, nothing but dirt and little rocks through out. But overall still enjoyed the day.
Greens only positive thing on course
Fairways are patchy with dirt lies most of the time. Greens were in good shape, but very soft. Overall, you need to lift and place for a fair round.
Fairways conditions were poor
Had a lot of dry spots and dirt in the middle of fairway
Horrible Condition
Greens 6 out of 10. Fairways zero!
I don’t think I’ve ever played a course in such poor shape. This place makes Woodcreek look like Augusta.
Will never play here again. Too bad because it could be so good.
