Course is in great shape and friendly staff done in 4 hrs

Check-in with Starter at 12:00ish was easy and pleasant.. The course was wide open. he told me I could go our whenever I was ready. I wasn't required to wait for my specific tee time.

The carts at this course not in the best shape. EVERY (yes, every) cart had torn seat cushions. That said, the course was in good shape.

I Flew thru the front 9.

Things slowed down dramatically on the back 9. After completing #10, since nobody was behind me, I enjoyed a 20+ min conversation w/ a marshal named Alan. GREAT GUY ( and Cubs fan). He explained it was going to be much slower. That pause allowed me to not have to wait pretty much the remaining holes.

THE main reason for my taking the time to write this review...

When done playing, I went back in to the shop to inquire if they offered a twilight walking rate. The employee (I'm told his name was Eric) acted put out and I was somehow bothering him. Yeah, I will say a bit of an AH. His response was VERY condescending.

I will go back because of the golf, but management may want to address Eric's customer service skills.

Good track! Greens were a little slow and fairways a bit patchy. This course needs some facility upgrades, like the carts for instance.

Course conditions were fair. Fairway we’re ok but anywhere just a little off the fairway is met with sparse grass and lots of dirt. Greens were ok but you can tell no one fixes their ball marks as there are ball mark scars everywhere.

It’s too bad because it was a really nice course the first few years it was open. Still a good design but pretty obvious the owners have decided that ok is good enough for their customers.

For the money, Turkey, Lincoln hills hills course, Sierra Pines, and Timber. Creek are much better condition.

This is a tough track with lots of uneven undulating fairways and greens. Take plenty of balls.

I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt like I needed to write this. Disclaimer my review has nothing to do with the recent condition of the course itself. I have played here in the past and it’s usually painfully slow and the course isn’t in the best condition for the price. With that being said I accidentally booked the wrong tee time (for a 7am tee time) the day before around 6pm so it was within 24 hours of the tee time. I understand the 24 hour cancellation policy they have the right to charge me, but I immediately tried to contact Morgan Creek to cancel the tee time and left a voicemail. They decided to charge me two weeks later for no showing. I can’t blame them for taking my money without providing any service, but does it seem like they could’ve easily cancelled my reservation no harm no foul, yes. Am I a little salty and this is the only way I can get my moneys worth, yes. This isn’t the first time I have had troubles with their clubhouse staff as one time before they charged me twice for the same round and were unwilling to remove one of the charges. Now I remember why I won’t be going back. It can be a nice 6 hour round if you decide to play here though.

In spite of the incredible number of golfers, the course move along at a reasonable pace. Traps were a little under sanded . The course appeared to be more like a Saturday morning . As always the staff were most helpful!

Played with 2 friends. Had a very nice time. 2 suggestions:

1- beverage cart would be appreciated as although not hot this day summertime in Sac valley usually is. If no bev service available then golfers should be notified.

2- on hole 13(?) (pare 5) there were 4 groups on this hole. Needed to call in to have marshals help to move players along. Maybe having 2 marshals on Saturday and Sunday? Just to keep people moving
