Morgan Creek Golf and Country Club

Love the layout of this course. A number of tee shots require precision accuracy. Some of the rolling fairways make for an interesting approach shot. The greens are usually fast & some have challenging undulations & levels. It rained a few days ago for a few days. 90 degree cart rule respectively. Still had some slop scattered around & constantly cleaning my ball but should have been expected. Doesn't look like it until you're out there. Including some traps, maintenance is to be had. With that said though, while they are working, they make it a point to honor your shot & stop working. Kudos. But overall, hit the fairway hit the green, bottom line & no complaints! Snack bar / bar girl is absolute sunshine. All the staff have been great each time I've been out there, & this particular time I was able to overcome a tee time issue w/ their help. Very grateful & thank you. Look forward to my return.

Tee time was right on s expected 12:30, it was windy and cold, but we finished as it was getting dark. I will be bak, but next time just a bit earlier tee time!

I've played this course many, many times, from back when it was private to when they opened to the public to now. Conditions have definitely gotten worse over the years, but yesterday, at least, the course was in good shape. Still some not great areas, particularly the bunkers, but the fairways were much better, with minimal bare spots. I suspect the heavy rains in November & December helped a lot.

The greens were in decent shape as well, a little shaggy but not pock-marked disasters. Balls rolled fairly true but a little slow.

I hope management applies necessary fertilizer and grass seed to continue the improvement of the course.

The course was in good shape considering the time of year and recent rain. The greens were rolling true. The pace of okay was little slow for a mid week round. Overall, it was an enjoyable round of golf.

Greens are fabulous, course and features are medium difficult and gorgeous. The day after New Years day was very wet and although we rode cart paths only as required, there were deep grooves from carts on the fairways. I would definitely recommend this course.

rough was slushy without adequate grass. very poor maintenance

Great layout n course. Due to wet conditions course is playing a stroke longer. Pace of play was even slower but overall fun in the sun.

Where are the course marshals? One group was hitting the tips and 3/4 could make it past 50 yards. Glad they have a club washer on card. Had to swipe clubs after each stroke

Good spot to get away in Roseville. Open and long fairways. Overall a nice place to play in the greater Sacramento area.

A cart path only day, due to the residual wet on the course. But a 6-hour round?

Cart path only but very playable . Sometimes have to move 10yds to find firm turf but overall just what you would expect after a rainy spell.

Ownership doesn’t put any money into this course. Tee boxes were mud pits. Greens were alright compared to city courses but that isn’t saying much. Fairways are patchy
