About
The Deltona Club holds the distinction of being ranked as one of the top 20 public golf courses in Florida. The club has roots that date back to the late 1950s. It is a remake of one of the state's earliest planned communities. Bobby Weed redesigned the golf course, improving its aesthetic appeal and giving it more playability. The course sprawls across rolling hills that provide dramatic elevation changes throughout. It is a far cry from the many flat public courses that exist throughout Florida. The natural contours of the terrain helped determine the strategic placement of the numerous bunkers, many of which were added during Weed's renovation. The Deltona Club's parkland layout has an interesting mix of holes with some that even have the feel of a links course.

Golfer Reviews
Average
Course is in average shape at best. Has been better in past.
That said they were fertilizing/treating while there. Throw in some rain it might improve
Not Happy With Golfnow
Im disappointed with Golfnow for not posting that the greens were just airified. The course claims to have alerted you, but there was no notice on your site.
It's ok.
I have always like the course. They are in the process or aeration of the greens and that really messes up everything until it gets healed. Other than that, the course is doing good.
Great spot
Always love playing this course…it is a very nice course for the price to play and me and my friends come here at least 1-2 times a week.
Rough confition
The tee boxes and fairways were in ver rough condition. Greens were decent but very slow. I don’t think people mention how much sand there is on this course, but it is almost like a trip to the beach. If you struggle at times with distance or accuracy be prepared to be hitting it out of sand.
Good Value
Nice layout, fairways need work, greens are decent, but slow. Overall I like the course and for the price it’s worth playing again.
getting better all the time. appreciate the effort to restore and recondition. keep it up! thanx
Great time of year and day for a round of 9.
This was a perfect day for a round of 9 alone. Greens are in good shape and the fairways are clean.
