About
Desert Springs Resort boasts two championship courses designed by Ted Robinson, the Palms and the Valley. The golf courses are known for their beautiful setting, offering unrivaled views of the Santa Rosa Mountains and the Coachella Valley. The Valley Course is considered the less challenging of the two, but both offer a stunning landscape covered with swaying palms and blue lagoons. The course features player-friendly fairways that beginners will enjoy, but there are also a fair amount of challenges. Like on the Palms Course, there is plenty of water. Between the two golf courses, more than 35 acres of water features come into play in the form of man-made lakes and streams. In addition to the two courses, Desert Springs also offers an 18-hole putting course, which offers all the same challenges as the other courses including bunkers, water hazards, and undulating fairways.

disappointing
we had this place in very good memories from ealier times, however this time it was disapointing. Fairways condition mediocre. Greens very slow and mediocre condution; pace of play slow. Further, I might be old fashioned, but there was loud techno sound and a cloud of canabis from an other tee coming to our fairway, this was disturbing for all pkayers in our flight! Furthermore, guests lockerroom needs maintenance and clean up. W played this week public courses in the same area for half the money and at better conditions!
Overpriced
The course cost is overpriced.
And the driving range was not open. Just not acceptable for such cost.
It’s a gorgeous course and so beautiful-
The white tee distance and layout just fantastic!
Makes your round of golf so enjoyable and wants to come back again and again!!!

Everything about the Valley course at the Marriott is fantastic. It’s a moderate difficulty course in amazing shape. I’ll be back!
First time playing this course and would play it again.
Great course - excellent staff
The club house staff like Adam, Todd, Scott and Tim make this course a diamond amoung gems.
Greens were still a bit rough after aerification. Tees and fairways were fine.
A fivesome held up play a little early in morning. The starter said it must have been a threesome and twosome that joined up on 1. No Marshall out on course to stop that.
Fun course and layout. Some great rolling fairways that give your drives an added boost. Very few buildings on the Valley course so you don’t feel like your in the middle of a resort.
Boys Trip
This course was extremely fun. It did warm up quite a bit to about 105-110 by the last 6 holes so that was a little tough. The pace of play was slower for the first 9 holes; however it did open up on the last 6 holes.
We would definitely play this again and also try the Palms course
