Valley at Marriott's Desert Springs Resort

We have all played in punched greens, but I have literally never seen greens this bad. I am not saying that for shock value, but not only were the greens punched, they had not been cut is quit some time. Extremely slow, crazy bouncy with some greens having thick patches of a different grass growing all over them.

There was no mention of this at booking, check-in or by the starter.

Course was in great shape for the weather. at this time of year, you can't expect perfect greens and fairways. That being said, it was very playable, we played it twice, always enjoy this facility. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Nice challenging and fun course. Not too long, but made more difficult by the typical Ted Robinson rolling hills and valleys along with several blind tee shots. If you miss the proper landing area you're gonna have a tough lie. The greens are in excellent condition, but greenside bunkers are very deep with steep walls, which is difficult enough, but there's basically no sand in them, rather hard pan sandy dirt. Several lakes, but water is not really in play all that often. The hotel and resort grounds are spectacular.

My wife and I enjoyed the Valley Course. With the very hot weather, the greens were a little slow, but they were consistent, hard to ask for more in over 100 degree weather. The course was challenging and a great value for the money. Definitely will play it again during our stay

Fantastic, everybody should go to this golf course

Very disappointed with the condition of the fairways and bunkers. I have played this course numerous times over the years although it had been a few years. The fairways were all clumpy grass and there wasn't a good bunker on the course. All were wet and hardpacked with little to no sand in them. It is summer and hot but I played two other courses this week with great fairway grass.

This course has its fair share of hills and water hazards throughout your 18 holes also number 9 and number 10 are back to back par fives which is a cool combo. I’ll play here again.

Played the Desert Springs Valley Course for the first time. Course was in good shape, considering the latest heat wave we had. Fairways were good, rough was decent, greens were better than I expected, a couple errant bounces but overall good, sand traps were firm. My only real grip is that they could give you a couple of bottles of water in the cooler, Over all golf experience give it a 7
