Valley at Marriott's Desert Springs Resort

We chose to play the valley course on this trip as opposed to the Palms course. The staff was very helpful in person, but those I spoke to on the phone were abrupt. Even though a four hour round seems good and acceptable, We had to wait at every hole.. Beyond that the course and grounds are beautiful, the greens were slow. We will play the other course next time. Marriott doesn’t seem to give you much of a break on greens fees though even if you’re staying on there. So think about that because there are lots of options in the valley.

The course was in very good shape and the staff was excellent. We played the round in 3.15 hours which was really enjoyable.

Very nice layout. Overseeding two weeks earlier and so course was in great shape but as expected greens slow. Didn’t quite finish 18 but had an 1240 tee time. Pace of play was 4 hours 20 min. Would like play it again.

From the surly staff, to the driving range being closed with no notice ahead of time, this course was disappointing. A small footprint of land, loud streets close by to too many holes, no amenities, this course is overpriced and not worth the price. I’ll never be back.

too many tee times created 10 min wait times at tee boxes. i understand the need to generate revenue, but this day was unacceptable to a player who plays at least 50 rounds a year around the country,

wanted my money back for poor management.

We golfed 5 times while we were in Palm Springs and this course was the best overall for value and conditions. The pace of play was a bit slow but that was the fault of the idiots in front of us. I would love to golf the course again.

Definitely enjoyed the round! Staff in clubhouse very friendly!!

No attempt by Rangers to improve the pace of play.
