About
Desert Springs Resort boasts two championship courses designed by Ted Robinson, the Palms and the Valley. The golf courses are known for their beautiful setting, offering unrivaled views of the Santa Rosa Mountains and the Coachella Valley. The Valley Course is considered the less challenging of the two, but both offer a stunning landscape covered with swaying palms and blue lagoons. The course features player-friendly fairways that beginners will enjoy, but there are also a fair amount of challenges. Like on the Palms Course, there is plenty of water. Between the two golf courses, more than 35 acres of water features come into play in the form of man-made lakes and streams. In addition to the two courses, Desert Springs also offers an 18-hole putting course, which offers all the same challenges as the other courses including bunkers, water hazards, and undulating fairways.

Bumpy greens
Overall excellent tract! It looks like the greens were punched and have not fully healed.
Good challenge played the Blues.
This course was in good shape overall. Greens recently sanded but grass is coming in and putts rolled true. Beware downhill putting can be super slick until fully greened up. Some nice water Hazards. Rolling fairways can leave awkward lies, requiring some creative shots. I recommend this course.
Great course and value!
Still my "go to" course in the Coachella Valley. From the clubhouse, to the friendly cart staff, starter, range and the course itself. All-around the best course(s) for the money (Valley and Palms). I have been a regular usually during the summer. Great work!
First time on Valley Course
Overall, enjoyed the round.Two items that held me from giving 5 Stars, lack of sand in sand traps and to much sand on greens.
Course was good but I didn't know they were Putting sand on the greens. Nothing was said to me when I booked tee time. Still had a good time.
A little disappointed
The greens were interrible shape. Not green and sparse. If the pro shop had been opened I would have asked that the round be discounted.
Nice layout but ...
The greens were burnt out and quite bumpy. At no time did it feel like you had a chance to actually make a putt ... beveridge cart was at hole 1 teeing off ... never saw again until the 18th tee box ... played from 11 til 3 ... maybe they take a 2 hour lunch but its disappointing to play for almost 4 hours and not have a chance to buy a cold drink or a snickers bar.
Overall, service on the poor side, greens not worth trying to putt on, look elsewhere, there are better values out there.

Golfer Heaven
Great golf resort. This course is another great Ted Robinson design. Played the Valley course, the T boxes & Fairways are in great condition, but most of the greens were bad, dried out and bumps.
Valley Course @ Marriot
This was a fun course to play, but the greens were all yellow and looked like they had been punched, so that was the worst part of this course. Kind of a funny time to have greens looking like that, most courses had already redone the greens, but not sure what the story is with this course. But, the rest of the course was in good shape, allot of water & sand traps, but survived them all.
