Baytowne at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

Greens just redone so very slow but perfect course otherwise.

The course was in great condition and the is was the best part of the day

First time playing this course and for the most part it was great. That said, I’d expected the course to be a little better than it ended up being. Tee boxes were a bit sparse in some areas and the greens definitely need a bit of work. None of the shortcomings were make or break by any means, but given the 100 something dollars I paid to play, I thought it’d be a little bit better. Nothing against the course and I’d definitely play there again, just might look for a hot deal.

Baytowne is a good layout. Greens had been recently aerated so can’t pass judgement there. Fairways good. It’s a fair test of golf and a reasonable value. I’ll continue to play it along with the other two.

Would like to see a course Marshall monitoring pace of play.

The over all course was nice but greens in horrible shape and they should offer discounts during aeration period. They were extremely bumpy

Also had to walk across a bridge with all your gear to access the driving range!

Friendly staff and great course layout. They had just aerated the greens, so they were slow and bumpy. It had rained a lot the day prior, so it was cart path only and the range was closed. Navigating between a few holes on the back can be tricky for a first time player. They could improve signage. Overall, I really enjoyed the course as each hole is unique in its own way. With my coupon, I only paid $50. So the price was right for the conditions. I’m not sure if it worth the usual $119. I have booked it again for next week at the $81.99 rate. Conditions should be better. I’m looking forward to playing it again.

Few tee boxes need help. Otherwise course was in nice shape. They had aerated which I knew in advance. Slow greens. However, you’ve got to do the work to maintain course.

Some of the tees were in poor condition plus don’t bring your putter; bring a mallet or sledge hammer! The greens are terrible and I am surprised this course gets as much play as it does!

The fairways were in good shape and the staff was friendly, courteous and professional!

i have not played this course in 6-months due to the greens being in such poor condition the previous times I played this course. I was hoping they would be in better condition but I was very disappointed. Bumpy, incredibly slow, and so many holes where pin locations were previously that have not grown back. If spending the money to golf at San Destin, I would not recommend playing the Baytowne course. Everything else about Baytowne was great (fairways, layout, tee boxes, staff), but it seems like the greens are just not important.
