About
Located right along the water, Emerald Bay Golf Club was designed by Bob Cupp to be Destin's premier full-service, 18-hole championship course. Water is a prominent feature as the course overlooks the shores Choctawhatchee Bay and incorporates water features on 12 of the holes. Oftentimes golfers will face an intimidating shot across a lake or a pond. Emerald Bay Golf Club's sculpted fairways and tight greens are always in excellent condition. There are four sets of tees that make the golf course accessible to most players' abilities and no matter what skill level you are, the views are not to be missed. The views are especially breathtaking on the back nine, which borders the bay. There is also an expansive driving range at Emerald Bay that golfers can use before playing the golf course.

Was left wanting...
Sections of certain greens, certain tee boxes, and certain fairways were in disrepair. Not having water available on the course except at the turn was a turnoff. However, overall course layout was challenging and fun. Greens were fast and predictable on brakes.
5 Stars – Outstanding Experience at Emerald Bay Golf Course
We had an absolutely amazing experience at Emerald Bay Golf Course! Even though we accidentally showed up on the wrong day, the Pro Shop Manager, Steve Keith, went above and beyond to accommodate us. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and got us booked with a tee time without hesitation. That level of customer service made all the difference.
The course itself was beautifully maintained – lush fairways, pristine greens, and stunning views throughout. Every member of the staff we encountered was courteous and welcoming, which made the whole day that much more enjoyable.
Highly recommend playing a round here if you’re in the area. Between the first-class service and the top-notch course conditions, it’s an experience you won’t forget. Thanks again to Steve and the entire team!

Course layout and condition was great. Staff was extremely friendly.
Course does play very slow due to difficulty and no ranger pushing slower groups.
Great course, conditions
For all the reviews in the past week or two that have said this course is not in good condition they must have played a different course. Yes there were a couple of spots on a few greens, but with the Florida head you will always have that. The course is in excellent condition from tees to greens. Worth the price and will play here again when I come back to visit.
Great experience as a solo woman golfer
This was my first time playing golf in Florida and I can be considered a beginner. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The grounds are well kept and great views. It did rain but less than 20 mins and the staff helped dry off my cart so I could get back to playing. Even with the rain I was able to complete all 18 holes at a great pace. I would recommend this course to anyone traveling.

Tee boxes are mostly bad!
The course is coming along well after being punched but many of the tee boxes are really bad.
Great course and great staff!
It was our first time to play this course and it will be a regular stop for us on our next vacation. The course was in terrific shape. We enjoyed the visit and the staff was top notch!
