The lake's
Greens were in fantastic condition considering there had been a lot of rain. Temporary tees were fine, looking forward to playing it again in the summer.
Lovely place to play golf
Great course ! Take plenty of balls though because if like me you see water you have to aim for it !!,
Excellent course with lots of interesting holes
Played The Lakes course on the second day of our two day break.
Much easier that the National Course and much prettier.
Holes much shorter but certainly need to think about placing your shots as lots of dog legs.
Water comes into play quite a bit, especially on the par 4 12th, when you need to get as close as you can to play over the lake to the green, which is also protected at the back by bunkers!
Took a buggy, but like the National course often buggy track was a long way from the ball.
I think there had been alot of rain in South Wales before we played so the greens were slow.
Scored pretty well and we were not held up at all.
A very enjoyable course and excellent facilities.
Excellent course
The course was in excellent condition. It was busy due it being a Saturday but the pace of play was good. There was a good variety of holes. I will definitely play again in the near future.

Excellent course we'll maintained good for all Golfers well worth a visit.
Lake course 4 ball
Very good course in good condition fast hard to read greens very good test for low handicaps. On the down side no maps of course available,also no hole number on tees

Excellent course greens superb and fast,well maintained and looked after.
Better than I remember it.
the course was in good condition, greens were slippery but also soft enough to get some bite. Played early and pace was quick. Shorter than I remember.
Great course for mid handicappers
Great condition. Clever layout, to make your life easy you have to smart with ball positioning and approach play, but not brutally difficult. Fairly short course. Lovely setting with great restaurant, practice facilities and friendly staff. The hot deals here are well worth it
Great Facility
Hadn’t been to the Vale resort before, but was very pleasantly surprised. Folks were all friendly and very welcoming.
