Great course but plenty of time to admire it
Turned up for our tee time to find 4 groups qued on the 1st tee. We were advised this was a delayed competition so we were unable to play through as a 2, resulting in a round of over 4 hours. Tee times should not be advertised within an hour of any competition, particularly when those that play in it take forever to play a round of golf

Hiking boots required!
I'm 60 and only been playing 2 years, so a novice. The first 9 are very hilly, back 9 less so. Greens were in good condition and quite fast but tees were hard and I experienced some difficulty in pushing in my tees. Very little water; only one pond to overcome. Fairways are mostly very wide but I still found the course challenging. I didn't use the changing rooms or clubhouse hence I've not completed the star rating for the off-course amenities.
