Aguila Golf Course

Aguila Is such an underrated course and facility. Fun layout, great condition and a better value. The facilities are straightforward, no frills but has all the things. The staff is tremendous. The only kink is the pace of play is slower then I like but better than some other courses that are close.

The course was a lot of fun to play. Unfortunately they’re starting to reseed this coming week so the fairways weren’t in ideal condition. The layout is challenging but forgiving. Pace of play wasn’t horrible. On the first Sunday with sub 90° temperatures here in the valley, we finished in just over 4

Hours. By far the nicest affordable course in South Phoenix! Can’t wait to play again soon.

I love this course! They take care of it, it’s a fun layout, the greens roll smooth, and there’s actual sand in the traps.

A couple par 4s will make you drive it long to have a chance at the green, and another couple will tease you to try to carry it over water on a short dog leg. Decisions, decisions.

Roughs were cut a bit short this time because of preparations to overseed

I’ll be back many times after the overseed.

Aguila is a great track for the value and has everything you want in a AZ golf course. Nice tee boxes, some desert features, ravines, some greenery, bunkers, water features, Mountain View’s and some great risk reward holes.

Love the driving range ans abundance of putting greens!

The course is in great shape with great greens and sand traps were excellent. Just a great venue with good pace of play.. Highly recommend playing a really good municipal course.

Love this course! It is beautifully maintained, challenging (but not to the point of being brutal), and the staff here is very professional.

The course was in really good shape for being in the 100 degree plus time of year. The greens held really well and rolled pretty true. Fairways were nice as well. The pace of play was almost perfect, we had to wait a few times, way less than typical.

I got a great deal thru GN. We played the silver tees which gets out to roughly 6300 yards. There were several par 4's over 400 yards. The greens had been punched so scoring was tougher. I would definitely play it again. The staff was friendly

I love this course. It has something for everyone with 4 tee boxes, great practice areas and always seems to be in great condition. I played a day after a big monsoon storm at 10 AM and found all traps raked and dry, no debris on course, and no standing water. They do a great job there. Highly recommend!

Course was in great shape, particularly considering the time of year

I loved the course. Its public son don't expect 12 on the stint meter, but the course is very nice overall.

I booked at Aguila because it rarely disappoints. This is a great course and somewhat of a hidden GEM in the phoenix valley. I play this course about 5x a year and its always in some of the best shape compared to other courses. The Value and the challenge of the course are why I continue to play here. The Tee boxes are well manicured, The fairways were rather lush for the time of year, and I would compare the greens to a few other top notch courses.
