About
The Aquila Golf Course facility offers two golf courses; one is a championship length course while the other is a par-3, nine-hole course. The championship course provides an excellent game of golf for an affordable price. There are scenic views of mountains and downtown Phoenix as well as a challenging layout featuring several water hazards and bunkers. Although the terrain is rather hilly, it is still relatively walkable. The course has an excellent range of holes that each have a unique character, the par 5's are especially notable. Native grasses and wildflowers are also present on Aquila's Championship course, further adding to its natural beauty.

Awesome
Possibly the best municipal I’ve ever played, tee boxes like carpet. Fairways immaculate and greens in great condition 👍🏼
Just a good place to go get some inexpensive swings in
Flat par 3, good place for kids and beginners or if you just want to get some iron practice in
great professional style track
best value for the money in the valley
18 Hole Aquilla
Very nice course, great layout, friendly fairways. Greens were just sliced for aeration and need to heal a bit more. I would recommend playing in Phoenix area.

This course is always in great shape. They had recently sliced the greens but had no affect on the roll. Great course lots of challenges
Value for Money
One of the best courses to play right now considering cost/quality. Everything in wonderful shape. Don't hesitate to book.
Nice Friday morning for Golf
Had a very pleasant round of golf, starting at check in to the very end. Starter was very nice and got us started early. People I was paired with were all very nice. Can't say enough good things about Aguila golf course, always a good time.
Sorry I didn't get a picture of a roadrunner to include in my review.
City Jewel with wonder vista’s and pleasant to walk
Only 1 complaint!
There isn’t a tee option rated between the Silver at 6,403 and Gold at 5,952.
We played the Silver tees but move up to the Golds on the hardest 5 holes (1,4,9,12 and 18) which reduced the Silver yardage by 132 yards. The 6,271 played perfectly find and gave some hope I could reach the longest par 4’s, I’m thankful a couple guys I joined suggested we do this…
Greens were smooth large and had consistency with all rolling fast and fair. Was surprised to see the over-seeding extended beyond some of the fairway’s and was plush around the greens with all bunkers filled full with sand and groomed for play.
Practice areas for driving, putting and chipping were all available and near the first tee.
The entire day was so enjoyable I will be back as Chad sold me the city card before I even experienced this wonderful course. I’ll obviously be back and would like to thank the city of Phoenix for their efforts to keep the course in great condition. I say play it and play it often! Each hole is like unwrapping a well thought out gift.
