Quick Round
Played in under 3 hours. Delayed start until after rain stopped. Course was very wet with lots of puddles you needed to avoid. Very pleasant not having to wait.
Average conditions, excellent price
Bermuda fairways had gone dormant (January) so tight lies were abundant, but the greens were in pretty good shape. Fairly forgiving course made for an enjoyable round. Nothing plush, but appreciated the value! Will play again while snowbirding in Destin.
Ft Walton golf course
Played the Pines side. Overall course had little grass and many leaves and debris around trees. Greens were good. Play was very slow and No place to get water or other beverage on course. Woman in bar completely ignored me probably because she was talking with 2 male customers and waited on my partner immediately after HE entered the bar.
Fast Front, Slow Back
Play was quick the first nine but slowed second nine when caught the group in front. Course was in good shape, greens a bit slow. Overall good value.
Pines course
Challenging layout at reasonable rates.
Conditions a little rough this time of year but very playable.
I’ll be coming back.
Excellent Layout
Great day at the course. Slow play, but they were busy. The fairways and greens are in great shape. 75 degrees for December, I will take it.
Sure you are a 5-9 handicapper - sure LOL
Typical muni conditions
I was disappointed. I played at 2pm so I got a twilight rate but if I had payed the full amount I would not have been pleased.
Not an Interesting course and not in good shape.. blah and blah. It’s playable.
Pines Course
The course is in great shape. Greens are quicker than normal due to the grass going dormant for the winter season. It's still green and plush.
Freezing Day at the Corse
It was 47 at tee off, and only reached 50. Had a good breeze so the wind chill was up. However the course is in great shape. The greens are much faster this time of year. The 1st cut is dormant, so used the putter often and sank two birdies from 60 and 70 feet! Just trying to get it close to save a par. Had a great time even though it was cold.
Wasn't that busy Saturday - you're just a slow player with a BS handicap LOL
