Pines at Ft. Walton Beach Golf Club

Course was fine. Staff was great. Came early and asked if I could play before my tee time. They accommodated me and played solo. Around a three hour round. Now a days you don’t get that opportunity play that fast.

For the most part this course is in pretty good shape. The staff is real nice and helpful. I love the booklet they provide that gives you distances from various points on the course. The greens were in fair shape for what we have experienced elsewhere. I would play again.

We don't spend the big big bucks for golf like some. We appreciate the courses willing to stay reasonably priced for the middle class. That being said the Walton Pines was in very good shape overall. The greens are the best we have encountered of the courses we have played. The staff was cordial and professional. Will play this course again.

Everything is bright and green. The greens have firmed up slightly since the dusting of sand and the bermuda has filled in nicely. The greens seem a bit faster since the cool weather pattern we had. Now its getting really cold this upcoming week. Well, cold for us Floridians.

Great value for the money, as noted greens were slow, but fun lay out and in really good shape

A really nice course for the money,it's in really nice shape,for a city course.the only drawback,we had 2 people in front of us,if they would have gone any slower,they would have been going backwards. No ranger to be found ,too let them know,we had to jump a round them,or else ,I maybe writing this review,from the 15th hole.

The Course was in great shape. The weather was still a bit warm, in the upper 80's, but the humidity level was low so you didn't sweat as much as last week. The greens are slightly faster now since the light sanding they put down a month ago.

Good deal for the $$. Greens had been aerated recently, but rolled well. Considerable grain which had to be accounted for. Course condition were very good as was pace of play. Three players played in well under four hours. Good value!

First time playing here but I will definitely play it again. The greens were a little slow and had been recently punched. Overall a good round

This was a very nice course. Lots of beginners and below average golfers here. For the money it is an excellent value. Well maintained. Greens in great shape but a little difficult to read. I would play here again for sure.

Pace was a bit slow, but all in all, had a great time. It was hot, but that's August on the Gulf Coast. Greens are great except fot the scuff marks, spike marks from players in front of you. Nothing one can do about that except tamp them down before you putt. Everything is nice and green, no weeds. In fact, they sprayed for some of the Poanna grasses that was near some of the tees boxes and you can notice it is dieing off as intended. They are doing a great job on weed controll and keeping the course nice and plush.

Most people complain about greens and speed, but most were just fine and the ones that weren't were still fine enough.

Great layout. Just a fun course all around. Enjoyed it more than the pricey Kelly Plantation, Regatta etc courses. Actually played twice more that week.
