Pines at Ft. Walton Beach Golf Club

I think this was the best conditions I have ever played on the Pines Course. The greens were even better than when I played there 3 weeks ago. They were pretty fast and very smooth. There were a few grass patches on the edges of some of the greens, but in no way did it affect your ball in relation to the pin placements. Everything was freshly cut and was a delight to play on. CUDOS to the greens keeping staff for making all the improvements to this course. It has been a long time coming, but the staff has the right formula now for making this a great municipal course.

Wide fairways , ok greens , tee boxes beat up . Nice layout good value for the money

Good course for the Cost. Course was in great shape. Greens were very good. The course was wide open and we never waited to play the next hole.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The Pines was in pretty good shape. The greens were furry but rolled with some consistency from hole to hole. We had a great round!

Tee boxes need work. Greens much improved. Staff great !!

Bring back Edwin Watts or another golf retailer to the vacant pro shop.

I have played here several times in the last year that I've lived in Crestview, FL. The greens had bad spots in them last summer which were resoded. It happens sometimes in hot dry months (August) They are in great shape now. I have nothing bad to say about the course, clubhouse or staff. Nice play for the money, especially on a hot deal, from golf now.

Played the pines the other day with my buddy. It was in decent shape several rough spots on the greens which didnt help but the rest of the course is good. Havent played the pines in a while so i wanted to get a practice round for my annual trou university alumni charity golf tournament. Beautiful day for a round of golf

Greens need some work. But heck for the money its a no brainer.

This is a fairly short course compared to what im used to. Its not beautiful plush, but it is well managed, the outside bathrooms could use some attention though. Ive seen multiple staff working on the course everytime i play. Speaking of the staff they are very friendly. On two different occasions ive had marshalls trolling the woods with me in search of my lost ball. Now thats friendly

Good course, love the pines but greens still have a ways to go from some rot. Getting much better lately. Staff is very friendly. Miss the pro shop though. They don't offer a military discount when most courses in the area do. Overall, it's always a good experience on the Pines or the Oaks.

Greens were half dead, putts bounced around. Chipping was ridiculous, grass around greens was very thin and patchy. Tee boxes were uneven - had to search for a flat spot to hit from. Very cheap price - you get what you pay for!

Have played this course many times and we always enjoy it. There was a foursome two groups ahead of us that slowed us down. but not enough to complain about.

Played this course last year and the greens were in terrible condition. They were mostly dirt and had very little grass on them. This year both the fairway and green conditions were much improved. I enjoyed my round much more and will go back and play it again which is not what I was saying a year ago. Plenty of tee box options to make it playable and enjoyable for golfers of all levels.

Fun for money, and friendly staff. Very clean course with most greens in good shape. I would certainly play it again and again.
