Nice layout good challenge. Greens on the slow side

Played while visiting family in the area. Pro shop staff was very friendly and helpful.

Back nine was wet and cart path only due to recent rains. Even wet it was not in bad shape. Fairways and greens were over seeded. Fairways were good with some thin spots but very playable. Greens were very slow but rolled true once you found the speed.

Good layout with holes that move both ways. Good mix of long and short holes. Greens are on the smaller size with just enough undulation to make them interesting.

I would play here again.

2 things stood, 1) the staff, every single person is focused on the customer having a great experience, 2) the greens are very slow, but i understand that is strictly a time of year issue associated with the overseeding. The layout has a good variety of challenges. If you are a slicer you will probably hit a few houses.

Weather was great. Course is challenging. I miss not having GPS on the cart. For some reason golf apps couldn’t connect to internet. Tees fairways and greens are in great shape. Greens are very slow to putt on. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable round will definitely play here again Worth the drive.

Great course, fun to play and offers some challenge

The last time I played at Magnolia Point was in the summer and the greens were in horrible condition and the fairways were in need of some attention, so I gave the course a break in the rotation. I decided to give it another go and I was surprised that the conditions of the greens were much better and the fairways looked like fairways. It looked like the tee boxes were getting some attention and the grass was coming in. I will say the greens are still very slow but they do look nice and it looks like the greens keepers are doing a good job. I will play here again.

Yes, they did overseed the greens recently and are waiting to be cut so they're a little bit shaggy. Just hit the ball harder, duh. The greens are definitely playable and no weeds or bare spots. Nice course layout with some holes tighter than others. I would definitely come back to play. Pace of play was good with the ranger keeping everyone moving. Typical 4-hour or so round with three of us and a foursome in front on a Sunday morning.

I didn’t know the greens were not cut for about 4-5 days in preparation of overseeding. These was a lot of grass on them, and I suspect they will be nice in the weeks ahead.

Other than that the day was great.

Courteous staff, nice fairways and tees. Our round took 3 1/2 hours on a beautiful day!

The layout is fantastic but the greens, the greens…. You need a rescue club to putt on these greens….should have been told about the greens…money first huh?

The greens were seeded but not maintained. Almost beat to use a diver to putt in order to get it to the hole from 10 feet. Also, seed distribution was aligned and that changed the ball movement. A slight cutting of the grass in the early morning may have made for better greens.
